I'll start, since OP is having some issues.
Boku no Autistic Mountain Climbing
Did that switch magazines 30 chapters in or something? It starts out as typical sports shounen, but completely switches gears for some reason.
Wish I knew enough Japanese to breeze through it goddamn I still need to do my reps today.
Makie was bullshit overpowered, and it was glorious.
That shit was fantastic and is criminally under appreciated, I don't care for sports or sports manga in general but that was really enjoyable.
Your post makes literally the third time I've seen it on /a/, and one of those times was me trying to make a thread.
This used to be posted all the time in one-page threads.
Might not be the greatest, but I enjoyed it.
Hunter x Hunter
Currently rereading it to refresh my memory and the setup of the invasion of the Chimera palace is so beautifully done
There are so many moments during the Chimera arc that send shivers down my spine
I hate the phrase "Show, don't tell", but cooking series really needs to do this to portray the sense of taste to the readers, which is something Soma lacks. To begin with, it's not nearly descriptive enough with the foods. There are many times that they are just covered by mundane descriptions like "wow it's so sweet" "so sour" "so tender" "very aromatic" "refreshing" "strong flavour". Then your tasting sessions are all like this
>Panel 1: scoop food
>Panel 2: puffed up cheeks of taster
>Next page: Taster in some cosplay photo shoot
So...how does it taste like? I don't have a clue, but it's apparently very good because they went to a meat carnival.
It's the same deal with the special ingredients they keep throwing in. You can't tell how they are any better than the common ingredients, but you'll just have to accept that they're better because the chef says so and the tasters agree.
I also don't like how a bunch of these matches are determined by whichever has a stronger flavour, it seems ridiculous at times that I just wonder why don't they just serve everything raw if "strong flavour" has this much influence.
In comparison, Toriko does a much better job at showing taste even though all its ingredients are make-believe. Like if you are going to show how tender it is, actually focus on the food at the moment it is being bitten and snaps in elasticity. Show how smooth it is with descriptions like how it slid to the back of your tongue upon entering your mouth and had almost gotten swallowed by accident without even getting a single bite.
And then you have Yakitate Japan, which does a better job at showing how one ingredient is better than the other for the situation like actually showing a molecule diagram of water reacting to this flour vs that flour.
They should have odor samples and licking patches in the manga for smell and flavor.
>"Oh wow, it smells just like 20 days unwashed rotten vagina!"
>"Unbelievable, it even tastes like one!"
This shit just keeps getting crazier and crazier!
I love it.
Let's be honest, before SnS Tosh drew nowhere near as good as he does now. Just compare the girl's faces alone and you would understand that a simple Alice face page is more lewd than most of Harem Time.
Still waiting for some gorup to pick this up. Too godly to stay in limbo.
What's te issue though? Lack of interested from capable people? I wish I could do something, but I'm so useless I don't even know if I could provide a platform for moonreaders and editors to work with. Times like these I wish I had more scanlating experience.
I eyed all the released raws today, and this series is amazing. What a glorious rape scene in the last few volumes.
And since we're onto it, I found the series has continued after a long hiatus but through web releases.

This address seems to have two of the most recent chapters, but they are some chapters in from what we left. Really curious to find the ones directly after the 9th volume.
Agreed. I remember being all hyped up at the moment and then I got to this spread. I felt crushed seeing Joe like that.
Pic related was also hear-wrenching
I have been enjoying this from start to finish.
Definitely top-tier material.
it's only problem is how long it took
pic related though
Not him,but the main problem with the tournament is that the fucking Souma matches are goddamn boring.
It's not that it takes long, but all of souma match are set since the beginning, and the execution just feels dragged because author actually puts effort in making the outcome really obvious.
And that's ironic considering how since Souma is the MC his fights should be the best ones.
Nothing to do with new, when you have a backlog that only increases you tend to pay less attention to recommendation threads because you're already piling up.
Just last year i finally started reading Prison School, and today i started and finished Ichi The Killer. Not everyone can spend 24/7 on mangos, i would if i could.
Kengo is a damn good mangaka
Hopefully we can continue to see consistently good work from him.
Pure suffering that it's been dropped by two different groups when it's so close to being completely translated.
Why do I get the feeling that Souma will become like that Baking manga that went from "I'm going to be the best baker because of my solar hands" to "Reactions, reactions reactions and Rice cakes made me evil and my final form is a bread monster that produces bread underlings"
After this arc it's probably gonna be another break arc, then second year where he starts moving up the top 10, that'll be 3-5 arcs, probably get kicked out, third year, fights dad win the bowl of tsundere
Is basically X-men the way they should have been.
The MC have the most amazing super power ever.
