ITT: amazing art styles

Fuck you, I wanted an actual artstyle thread.
If you set out to make something look shitty, it still looks like shit.

Oh man i remember all the hype for it and boom the episode came out which was followed by all the anger and disappointment. Threads pretty much were dead after that, sucks that the manga ended shit also.
Best art style coming through.

Makes me wish either of two things: remake Aku no Hana with a better artstyle, or do a live-action adaptation of it, probably by using the original camera footage.
They may only be able to draw one face, but otherwise their artwork is pretty good.

Kyoani chooses the K-ON face because when they don't, their shit bombs.

Sadly a remake is completely out of it considering the sales were quite bad.

The manga sales were boosted though.

What is Free?
>>119392649
>What is Free?
Free uses an altered K-ON style, one that allows for ripped dudes. The Girl Free looks like a K-ON.
I was thinking of Nichijou.
>>119392649
Well, Nagisa and the chick still got the face
>>119392675
Nichijou didn't bomb, it was so expensive they still came out ahead with the volumes sold but it didn't meet expectations. Low sales doesn't always mean they didn't profit.

Didn't that one producer shave his head because of bad sales?
The problem when discussing artstyle in anime is it would be more interesting to discuss it in a general animation board instead, since most japanese animation does similar things. We have no animation board though.

Complete shit.

>We have no animation board though.
Because that'd be dumb as fuck.
