Tarou will be busy inseminating these girls next year.
Does this mean GM-san will never make an appearance again?
Why does hairlight girl's shirt design looks similar to Tarou? She's gonna be the new Tarou, isn't she?
So in episode 12 ED, Misa give her love letter to Zuka-chan
Having several girls in a studio was fine, having all girls in a studio is plain unrealistic and works against the idea of Shirobako being in any way related to real-life anime production, which I was very fond of.
Post your favorite male.
It's not all girls in the studio. That's just the poster.
Why would all the remaining men just disappear?
Stop being stupid for the sake of being angry at something.
Look at this faggot, look at him and laugh
Having all girls in an anime club making anime is unrealistic in the first place.
Unless Aoi hit it big and made her own production company to make her own god anime, it isnt going to happen.
As it is, she hardly even has the time to form a doujin circle to make her anime.
I'd assume bias views are in play, but supposedly men handle the stress better of complicated/dumb ass patients, strength when dealing with patients, and they further their study in the field much more than females.
>You gave it all up. You gave up a well paying job with benefits! Now you shall suffer.
Greater strength, at least, is something that can't really be argued about it. Strength isn't something people usually consider important for nurses, I think, but I'm sure there are plenty of situations in nurse's work where it comes in handy.
Rii looks happy, Based Musani.
It probably isn't a huge priority to interviewers but patients do act up a lot or are just dead weight from what I've seen so it can be useful.
Nah, there were.
Usually I don't care if the cast is mostly/all females.
But, for Shirobako, I don't know why, but I feel bothered.
>tfw you're excited for the next Shirobako episode than New Years celebration
>do image search to see if there's a higher resolution available
I don't even.
I want to see this fucker try and piss off Loli-sama like he did with these animators.
>Taoru got fired.
How to ruin Shirobako 101.
How long until Nyanmori starts doing gangbangs to get rid of the stress?
What if the doll represents goth loli-sama and the bear Tarou?
I can see it!! The potential fat man harem doujins
Based Tarou showing how it's done.
Ghibli-chan a casual
Well, if she has her shit together and got proper management skills, that's preferable to "just" being an anime otaku (with nothing else than just muh passion).
Of course you need to at least somewhat identify with what the company's been making, to keep doing it.
Honestly, the bigger red flag would be that she honestly said "yeah I pretty much just applied for this job because of less commute", which could mean lazy, flaky, coasting-along personality (but of course her demeanor rather suggests she's the rational, planning type)
Hah that foreshadowing.
So all the guys who applied to the interview were utter failures and only the girls got hired? Meanwhile, all the guys are quitting Musani, one by one.
Musashino Animation will soon become the new Kyoto Animation, and a new era of cute girls drawing cute girls will begin.
So we know what the Musanis (Aoi and Ema) are gonna be doing next season (that notStrikewitches-adaption), but what's gonna be in store for VA, 3D and writer-chan ?
I kinda prefer that we're seeing separate threads, so the show can cover a more diverse range of roles and situations, instead of (rather cliched) having them all end up working at the same place
I'd make her the crazy mother of my children.
I would be ok with this
>You can get into anime-related-work this easy
Brb, re-watching Totoro
>she didn't dye her hair, she is actually just gray
The fuck happened to my pic? Shouldn't be a thumbnail. Fixed.
If we get a bunch of new girls but no new boys I'll be very disappointed. We already lost best boy.
Almost all the promotion has heavily focused on cute girls despite the show giving plenty of time to the boys, though, so I haven't lost hope yet.
Okitsu is sex.
That was Ema's parents. They've also cut Ema off.
I am guessing Midori's parents might be well-off since she seems to be living a fairly comfortable life (same apartment complex as Oi-chan) while attending university
Apparently Midori makes more money a year than Ema, despite clearly not actually being employed and having no source of income while being a student and paying tuition.
Maybe she's an escort?
>Nearly 20k a year in grants and scholarships
I don't think that's even possible. Nobody besides the US gives those kinds of huge sums of money for scholarships, and those only because it offsets their massively inflated tuition costs.
Don't other countries also provide for certain living expenses like housing and food?
That was the case during my undergrad days. Get your tuition and living expenses subsidized by dumb legacy kids with trust funds and rich international kids who want to attach their name to a prestigious university.
Honda and Ochiai won't be involved with Third Aerial Girls Squadron. ;_;
Survived Stalingrad and Imphal, what a trooper.
>implying Dost-chan will write fujoshit
>implying she won't write a masterpiece that will sell over 100k BDs
It's just production.
Dost-chan's writing isn't hipster, it's required reading material in high school and it owns.
I hope they stoned the man selling this doujin
You will never go drinking with Yamada and Endou. ;_;
Is it bad that I think that this show would turn out best if reality comes crashing down on the girls' heads and one or more of them suffer a great deal and kill themselves while the rest shamble on with their hopes and dreams unfulfilled for the rest of their lives?
Anime's a tough business
Why are they so cute together, /a/?
So will Oi's rival get more characterization this cour? It seems he's kind of just there for comic relief.
Also how the hell are things going to move from here, CGI chan has no job, VA chan sucks, Writer chan is college student, only Oi and Ema are moving anywhere. Don't see them making that dream anime anytime soon.
>Don't see them making that dream anime anytime soon.
I can see them ending with a time skip finale some years down the line with the girls finally fulfilling their dream.
And then when the final episode is completed, Aoi announces that she's quitting to be a donut baker.
>And then when the final episode is completed, Aoi announces that she's just become the new President of Sunrise and they are all hired for the production of their next idol X mecha anime.
I can't wait till we get more screentime for this cutie.
Its okay, I'll take care of her
No one talking about the GOAT character, all of you are fucking disgusting shit people
>Muh cute girls
>Muh 2cool4you men
>Muh fat balding higher ups
Sugie is literally the GOAT character along with the cool beauty that is the Gothic girl who we will see more of in a later episode
Indeed, only I can bully her. If someone else bullies her I shall defend her.
But in those the characters typically make a turn around and get to fulfill there dreams after all.
I want to see this meta anime love letter about the anime industry send the message that work in the industry is depressing and soul destroying and that it's siren call ruins lives and it's creative output contributes to the degeneration of society.
Is this really a bad thing to want from this show?
The show has taken on larger themes than just the joys and challenges of working in the anime industry.
A larger theme is how young adults transition into the working world, face real adversity, and learn to overcome those challenges. That's done through the prism of the anime industry because that's what the director and staff know best and can include their own personal experience and insights.
Your conclusion would come down to: "Kids, don't bother working hard. You'll fail anyway, so why fucking try." Which would fit better coming from a bitter NEET than a relatively successful anime director.
He's da best. We all knew he was waiting in the wings to do something important, but it was glorious.
This Anime came just in time for me because I'm graduating college in a few months. I can identify with every character on some level, but I think I identify with Aoi most of all.
4 unmatched episodes on my HD. I feel bad, there's nothing wrong with this anime, just I wasn't feeling it and I don't want to ruin it by forcing myself to watch it. Hopefully during the 2nd cour I'll be more invested in it.
>Everyone agrees Sugie's going to save Musani.
>Ema's arc happen, misinterpreted advice before >walk advice with Iguchi and Rinko. That all?
>Finally saves Musani big time, thank you Zeus.
2nd cour will 150% worse for Aoi
I knew that last episode was too happy
Please, highlights-chan can at least draw and publish something. If it was Tarou he'd probably submit only DeviantArt-tier storyboards and manage to lose half of them on the way to the printer's.
>you will never be a househusband who does chores and cleans the house while Aoi is at work
>you will never cook for Aoi so she only has to heat up a meal when she comes back at midnight from work
>you will never cuddle under a blanket on the couch and watch seasonal anime together while she drinks her piss-tasting shit jap beer and slurringly complains to you about keyframes
Why am I alive? Just to suffer?
I'm thinking they'll land the contract for that Third Aerial Girls squad show.
Given how I think of Exodus as probably feeling something like Milky Holmes or Symphogear (S1s), basically it's understood that the director is good at putting together an adventurous mishmash of moe/silly/crazy and hence would be a good fit for a Strike Witches/GuP type show. The guys from the publishing company seemed to be just waiting to confirm that Exodus stayed solid through the end both content and production wise before they could trust that director with a title with so much else riding on it.
apparently its an actual manga/LN and not based on strike witches
Mizushima and Nogami are bros after all. Though I expected that he used the oppurtunity to make a wrestling anime.
Tsutomu Mizushima, the director of anime such as Bludgeoning Angel Dokuro-chan, Squid Girl and Girls und Panzer, revealed on Twitter on April 12 that he would be interested in making a pro wrestling anime. "The problem is whether or not there'll be a request for one."
His tweet prompted a flurry of questions from followers. When asked what sort of approach he would take, Mizushima responded that he'd like to make it "so that both pro wrestling fans and anime fans would enjoy it." He wrote that he would personally like to see "serious matches" and set aside the issue of whether the rivalries will be scripted or real. When another user mentioned Wanna Be the Strongest in the World, Mizushima wrote that "moving from idols to pro wrestling was a fantastic approach." When someone suggested a female cast, he responded that "it'd be great to make a work with characters that have appeal beyond those interested in pro wrestling (^^)." Finally, he declared that "the All-Japan/New Japan era was easy to follow and I liked it." (All Japan Pro Wrestling and New Japan Pro Wrestling are Japan's two main wrestling promotions.)
I so happy for Roro. He finally got the girl.
The problem with Tarou is that he fuck things but he isnt aware of it. He's also full of himself, ai cant wait for an episode where he truly realizes he's inept and a liability.
He'll get fired before that. I want the president to personally fire him and he'll be furious and mad when he does. Not even the calm and composed pres can withstand atarous faggotry.
Tarou gets all his episodes on time when Aoi is struggling.
Technically that makes Tarou a better worker than Aoi.
So why /a/ hate him?
Who cares what his personality like is if he can do his job.
Fuck you faggot.
Yes. The horizontal striped shirt that makes him look fatter is his flag
Does anyone know what the coloring style in this is used for?
Is it just artists too lazy to color the whole thing so they use color pencils to add emphasis?
Same in this picture.
Angry Oi is best Oi.
She clearly longs for Tarou's tarous.
it's not a "style" it's the animators way to indicate what areas are shaded/highlighted.
here >>119017076 for example red (hair, eyes) means highlights. orange(?) outline/yellow fill-in means darker skin color for shadows. Blue fill-in/blue outline is shadows for the shirt etc.
Not every frame is necessarily that complex, just the keys (keys being different from 'extremes').
>mfw I was hoping for vanilla doujins
It goes even further back than that. This is from the beginning of episode 2.
