Blades are a metaphor for sperm, steel and fire are metaphors for hard-ons and lust--I see.
Unlimited Blade Works was a poem about a horny virgin all along.
She likes to be comfy in her own house.
She doesnt go out or socialise much at all. She usually only wears her mage outfit around her house. The fact that she is wearing it at Shirou's house shows that she feels really at ease there.
Not really. She always had a focus which occupied her time. Its not that she just stayed at home doing nothing.
She is very good at social interactions. Or at least she appears very good at them. Tohsaka's have a thing about maintaining a good outwards image to the common non-mage folk.
Neither Ayako or the Track team really know her though. She hangs out with them a bit but always keeps her distance
Either way, Rin is a good girl who likes her mage clothes and doesnt quite understand how attractive and sexy they are on her
>Either way, Rin is a good girl who likes her mage clothes and doesnt quite understand how attractive and sexy they are on her
Oh god that reminds me of the early scenes in Fate where she goes full autism why people are starring at her while walking to school with Shirou and Sakura
Because Fate characters are low class plebeians, bitches and whores.
They have no idea about manners, good outfits and were created by Takeuchi and Nasu to pander teenagers. Obviously, teenagers have low expectations and only want their characters to be "badass" and "sexy" - see Shirou/Archer and Rin.
As revealing as possible, easy access, sex is restoring mana, etc. Bullshit.
If you want to have a read deal for experienced people - read Tsukihime.
I can't fap to Rin. She's too pure.
In the future Rin will have graduated to having phone sex with old men for money
I dunno; I think Shirou looks pretty good man.
She's a rebellious teenager against Kirei, who tries to get her to dress modestly.
After Tokiomi's death, these assets were passed on to Aoi, and after Aoi's death they were passed on once more to Rin. Or at least, they should have been, but thanks to her legal guardian Kirei's naïve honesty and crude management, most of the valuable property was lost to other people. Then again, as a priest who values honest poverty, he probably thought it would be good for her from an educational standpoint. Just another thing for Rin to wallop him for, I guess.
thats not short this is short
>emiya "explain further" shirou
>getting a hint
>pay her to please me for money
What's happening with Saber with Waver?
You know, when I think of it, Rin's gem don't do that much that you couldn't do with a grenade (except maybe that they're smaller). And her hand gun thing two - you could do the same thing with a normal gun.
Japanese colds end in death, so do bullets. No difference.
Saber gets paired with everyone, it's inevitable.
Maybe it's some kind of British thing I don't know
It'll be her house too after marriage.
It's literally easier to count the number of people in fateverse who aren't in love with Saber than who are.
It's provocative and it gets the people going.
If by "ship" you mean lot's rape doujins, then yes they are "shipped".
Hardly matters tho, rape is always good no matter the participants or how boring they are like Saber or most Fate girls.
Long skirts just get in the way.
kerry has inspired me to sincerely consider getting one of these as a hunting backup (for bears)
>Implying the decision is Nasu's
>Implying he gets to do anything but send text messages while hiding in abandoned warehouses whilst desperately trying to avoid recapture by Takeuchi's forces
>Stopped Shinji from have Gil nuke Shirou after ilya died
all talk Gil didn't even really care
>She also had the upper hand over Caster but Shirou messed up at the last second.
still it was archer sealing the deal nobody expects a guy with no hand to hand experience to stop a guy buffed by magic and is a martial arts expert
Indeed. She is one of a few masters who actually was able to take on servants in a limited fashion.
No master in the 4th HGW was able to do that. And the 4th war was a war where the masters were more prepared.
That should tell you how good Rin is.
>all talk Gil didn't even really care
She made Shinji back down.
Wait a fucking second. I think I had this exact conversation with you on /v/ a few weeks back. I'm not doing this again.
You've got an author's name and images to reverse search. Do some work
Power is of two kinds. One is obtained by the fear of punishment and the other by acts of love. Power based on love is a thousand times more effective and permanent then the one derived from fear of of the least intelligent of those whom it seeks to reach

I bet Kiritsugu and Kirei and maybe Kayneth and Tokiomi could have done it to some degree. They were all just smart enough to know that it was easier to just go after the Master.
No, they wernt.
Only "terrible ones" were Uryu and Waver. The rest ranged from pretty decent to pretty awesome mages. And none of them put a scratch on a servant.
Rin is said to get rated in the top 50 mages that the Clocktower have ever had. She is incredibly good at her craft.
>she killed Berserker once
I almost forgot about that. I remember Shirou asking about how she did that.
>Shirou asking Rin if she trained her abs enough to withstand Berserker's grip
Densest material known to man
>I bet Kiritsugu and Kirei and maybe Kayneth and Tokiomi could have done it to some degree
Absolutely not. All of them would have gotten wrecked.
Did you notice Kerry shit himself when he was confronted by Lancer after frying Kayneth's circuits. He knew that if Lancer had wanted to kill him that he would have certainly died.
We know that Kotomine can take on servants. That nigga managed to stay toe-to-toe with Assassin in the 5th when he was old and past his prime. By extension, Kerry probably could with his time-accel+avalon hax that he used to keep up with Kirei.
Kayneth and Tokiomi are "proper magi" though and they stand no chance against servants.
>Would Kotomine or someone have been able to take on Gilles in melee combat if it came to it?
Was actualy top 100.
But it was the entire Mage's Assocíation not just Clocktower which ranges back to the end of the Age of Gods
And remember that encompasses some people like Nero Chaos
He was playfully following Shinji's orders at the time. If Shinji asked he would have been fine with killing another mongrel, but Rin caused Shinji to shit his pants and stopped.
>still it was archer sealing the deal nobody expects a guy with no hand to hand experience to stop a guy buffed by magic and is a martial arts expert
Rin still took on a servant. This whole conversation is about whether or not Rin did anything past day three, and the answer is obviously she did. You'd have to jump through so many hoops just to say she's useless.
Christ though we /did/ have this conversation a while back, and it went nowhere.
It's only because he wasn't prepared for Lancer. Kiritsugu is like Batman, he's only good when he has a plan and resources. Without those, there's not much he can do, but oh boy when he has them...
If she doesn't seal the deal and actually beat the servant its not noteworthy. Noteworthy points aren't awarded for trying or coming close.
Gil just didn't want to kill her there was nothing stopping him at all he could of sacred chained her before she could cast anyways or just summon a defensive NP from his armory.
Stop trying to overhype Kerry. You are like the dedicated shikifags.
He has no chance against any servant. Firstly, even if he wanted to hurt them, he has no weapon that can damage them. Secondly, his magecraft would be quite literally nothing to a servant.
We don't really know how good he is at magic though, all we saw was his time bullshit.
I mean, I'd agree, he'd normally stand no chance against any Servant, but I think there are certain very specific conditions under which he could win given a shitload of advantages tipped in his favor.
>If she doesn't seal the deal and actually beat the servant its not noteworthy.
Does Shirou beating Gil not count then? I mean Archer took the kill there. I mean half of every victory in the game can come with an asterisk.
>Gil just didn't want to kill her there was nothing stopping him at all he could of sacred chained her before she could cast anyways or just summon a defensive NP from his armory.
Bit he didn't do any of that. Shinji was gonna order him to kill, but Rin caused him to back down. It's that simple.
>Serving your girlfriend instant noodles
Shirou would kill you on principle alone for this.
the reason he didn't do it is what the argument is for Rin posed no threat that is a definite fact. He only didn't kill her out of sheer boredom and probably because he wanted to see something interesting happen not because Rin was trying her hardest to be useful.
>"You may not respect me, but you WILL respect the kitchen."
It's too obvious that you're just trying to stirr up shit
Cooking is serious business
>It wasn't a fight with Gil though
Assuming Shinji is his master which is what you claim it is a fight with him as well since that's what he's there for.
This guy just doesn't get it.
Right, and one shot from Rin to Shinji would have killed him. Shinji, not wanting to die since he's a coward, backed down. It's really simple.
You are trying to jump through hoops to make Rin look useless.
If he had been on board with Lancer helping them out then he would've been a full blown ally.
Man, fate has too many "what could've been" moments, sometimes I think Nasu should just write a route or two more for the VN.
Woah man some delusional Rin fans here thinking a servant that is capable of killing gods can't smack down a little girl before she can cast a spell.
heres another tip: he can summon defensive NP also just like Archer which CAN block magic
Dude, you're the one writing fanfiction for what Gil /could/ have done. Here's the thing though, he didn't do shit. Rin caused Shinji to run like a bitch, which is all that matters.
>Implying Gil gives a fuck
Gil would rather get away from Shinji to avoid having his clothes dirtied by his blood than using one of his precious NPs to save that mongrel's ass by killing another mongrel.
Not even Gilfags get his character right anymore thanks to fucking fanfiction.
You would not pay Rin to pay you in money?
>gilgamesh doesn't intervene and devalue the world with his bail out
Isn't there at least one comic with this joke?
>ultimately won the grail war
Funny how her winning had her doing no fighting and merely saving a naked kid who nobody wanted saved anyways she also fucked that up and archer had to bail her out again. Your other points are just trying points and not really doing anything concrete.
Dude, whatever I say you will try and find a way to make her seem useless.
Also, way to fucking miss the point of UBW. Saying saving Shinji was stupid is an instant red flag for someone who just doesn't get it.
She built a servant harem to win the war for her, that's what any reasonable master would do, and that's what every master would consider a victory. Now actually fighting the enemy servants, that's fucking retarded.
Are you ignoring everything she did during the route/VN because she didn't kill servants?
Because she would have been able to kill Caster had Shirou not fucked up against Kuzuki.
Yeah, it's pretty awesome how best girl wins in the final route, while the generic tsundere bitch is barely even relevant in her own route.
Rin is the second most prominent character in the game outside of Shirou.
>How do I fit as much wrong as possible into one post?
He's a pretty awful master who had to steal Sakura's servant and mana to do anything and instantly becomes a bitch when things don't go his way.
I'm not saying to go our your way to kill him, but shinji manages to get himself killed in every route thanks to stupidity in tactics or social life.
>hurr durr my adopted sister is 1,000,000 times the mage as me and has unstable powers
>better go rape her
That poses a risk of giving sakura too much say in the relationship and considering that old man Zouken ran things and not him, it wouldn't work out.
Is F/A good? I was interested in it but I heard its a prequel to a series that hasn't been made yet.
Now that you mention it, I think they kinda are. Without them Sakura wouldn't have had all that sex appeal that lured Shirou into her warm honey pot, and she would've remained a background character for all the VN.
>Side characters getting jealous
It's to be expected they'd hate on the character second only to Shirou in screen time.
Did we read the same VN? I don't remember Archer pulling Shinji out of there. He just gave the assist to Rin.
And again, if you think saving him was wrong, you're missing half the point of the route.
I don't think so. I'm not entirely sure why Rynnosuke was able to summon Caster with no magic; I guess it was just that the Grail was getting desperate and no one else was making the attempt. I should probably read the LN for elaboration.
How do you think he raped Rider?
So who is she talking about here?
Issei of course. He's the only other male character who has a past with Rin.
Either that or Kotomine.
How come Rin doesn't abide the uniform regulation like everyone else? How come she gets special treatment to wear slightly different color uniform? Shit is not fair.
You're still just giving me effort points. The hero isn't me moving you to the stairs its the fireman that comes through wraps you in a fire blanket and carries you out. Give me a point where she is legitimately useful BY HERSELF. Even on the assists her only legitimate fight is against caster at least on Shirou assists hes actually fighting and not watching or begin tied to a chair raped by Shinji.
They're talking about UBW there I think. Rin doesn't get a ton of development in UBW, a lot of her most revealing scenes are in HF.
Meanwhile, Saber's best scenes are in UBW. Sakura's best scenes are in F/HA.
Every route is Shirou's route, the girls are just along for the ride.
Some of ufotable's background girls are surprisingly cute.
Dude, you have a vendetta against Rin. This whole thread I've been listing thing she's done, and you're disregarding them because they don't fit your specific criteria for whatever reason. How many times is Shirou solely useful by himself? By what you're saying he wasn't the hero of the Gil fight, or probably really anything because he always has a "but" when it comes to his wins.
Going back to the start she had Shirou on the run in the school fight, she made Rider leave right after it, there's the stuff with Caster, the stuff with Shinji, and she ultimately helps Shirou by teaching him to have worth in himself. To claim she's useless is just ignoring everything that happens so it can fit your little narrative of Rin not being a good character.
That's definitely a doujin right
That can't be real
Fucking awesome come back pal, we're really having an intelligent conversation here.
You're the one setting up the rules for what you think is "useful", and when I list things, you disregard them and find something more specific to fit your narrative.
how come no one else tries to wear a different color coat then?
>muh special snowflake
>Saber's best scenes are in UBW
Saber has best scenes in all the routes.
Shirou is so clueless. Rin is literally throwing the vagina at him and he has no idea. Those cute girls next to him probably do the same but he's been too busy broing it with class prez.
I actualy disagree.
UBW devlops Rin and her relationship to being a magus far better than HF.
I mean in HG she completly pretends to be a cold hearted magus up until the end
The route focuses solely on her relationship with Sakura
Meanwhile that poor dude in the foreground is thinking "I wonder if I only exist to make someone else look good."
Then his skin melts and he goes blind without ever knowing why.
I would say UBW is the route where Rin discovers her humanity. Something most magi put aside in many cases. Her conversations with Shirou at her house show more of her inner struggles than anything that pops up in HF.
Rin in UBW see the contrast between being a "traditional" mage, like she's been raised to be, and Shirou, a non-traditional mage. I mean this last episode specifically talked about how maybe the way Shirou was raised wasn't wrong, and how there were struggles following the path she's taken as well. Shirou's mage life is more open, less secretive, and friendly. There are benefits to that.
I was kind of wondering why she was acting so much more relaxed in Fate as well, despite both her and Shirou being in a far worse position than they are in UBW. Maybe she just had it in her to know that acting like a cold, dire magus probably wouldn't be a good idea if she wanted Shirou to trust her as an ally?
I'm telling you, they're going to adapt the Good End and then have a spinoff featuring Rin/Shirou/Saber's happy fun adventures in London. A lot of secondaries are tuning in just to see the end of Saber's story from Fate/Zero after all.
Have you been watching the show? Saber hasn't done anything. They're skipping all her scenes and keeping her to the bare minimum.
From a sheer gameplay standpoint good end is already locked out.
I think UBW's going true because they do have some integrity and I think they're a bunch of closeted Rin fans. Also because we're halfway through the season, and Saber really hasn't been given that much focus so far, and there's no point shoehorning it into the last couple of episodes.
At least, maybe the bullying will finally stop.
The good ending is so nonsensical story-wise though. I mean, it's fun, but it really doesn't make a whole lot of sense, and with the way they've developed Saber so far I don't really see it happening.
Well they did get at least one Saber point, and Saber has been quite a bit more competent in the action scenes than she was in the VN. Once Rin becomes her master, they may even shove extra scenes for her in just to show off Saber at her full power.
Ufo's not stupid, they know Saber sells.
What doesn't make sense? I think it's kind of sweet. After all the angst in the Fate route about how she can't live for herself, Saber has finally found something she enjoys, that she'd like to live for. Something for herself. That she shares with Rin. Every night.
Since Shirou is basically Saber with a dick, the resolution to his distortion will simultaneously be hers. She'll just go "Ahh, this dude gets it" and that will be her resolution.
The one Saber point they got also comes with a Rin point.
If we're just talking points, they've skipped three Saber ones already, either going for the alternate Rin point, or just bypassing it entirely.
