What does /a/ think of Mine Fujiko ?
This is the only Lupin I've seen, which one should I watch next?
She's sexy without being trashy or compromising her capability(although competency which are, frankly, lost talents among contemporary female anime characters.
Daisuke Jigen's Gravestone is a good follow-up since it carries the same tone and style. Other than that you can pretty much have at it with whatever you can find since continuity is tenuous at best and the tone of all the TV series, TV movies, actual movies and OVAs varies from Looney Tunes to Timothy Dalton Bond films.
Any of the Tv specials or movies. For the sake of comparison watch Castle of Cagliostro, it's a different as you can get when compared to Woman named. Afterwards I'd recommend 1$ Money Wars/Missed by a Dollar.
Maybe, in the sense that Lupin and Jigen only met and started cooperating a little in Fujiko Mine, and their relationship is still a little tenuous in Gravestone, compared to the lifelong bromance of other Lupin series.
I didn't like this one as much as The Woman Called Fujiko Mine
>Actually liking Woman Called Fujiko Mine
You tell me? That anime was terrible and the best parts were the ones not focused on Fujiko which is why the movie was so good mainly because she was barely in it
>Zenigata trying to kill Lupin and having sex with Fujiko
>The entire shit with the Owls
>Fujiko being a flat and uninteresting character in her own fucking show
>Thought this was a movie
>2 parter with TV screening time
>It's fucking awesome with really impressive animation, much better than any PV shown about it
I'm assuming this is a sequel since Jigen and Lupin still have a semi-professional thing going on instead of being straight up bros. But holy shit, did I forget how awesome Kiyoshi Kobayashi is. Deep voiced yet amazingly classy.
