>Bowlcut is an asshole
>Croutons is an asshole, but a moe domino-building asshole
It's a joke about the BD2 manga. Saazbaum is the one who got Cruhteo to take Slaine in, and seems like it's Hime's obvious friendly affection for Slaine (even bowing to him) that got on Cruhteo's nerves.
Saazbaum was the one that picked Cruhteo as Slaine's caretaker. Asseylum bowed to Cruhteo and asked him to take care of Slaine and then when he was leaving she freaked out causing him to run back to her which just instigated all of the bullying.
I fault Saazbaum the most for making such a poor choice.
Is it a two month trip from Mars to Earth, or am I making that up based on the fact that Hime was on the Landing Castle with Slaine for two months?
We don't know how long it takes to get from Mars to Earth, Cruhteo's castle was in Earth orbit. For some reason she stayed at Cruhteo's for 2 months before the start of the show, probably wanted to catch up with Slaine.
Yeah, that's just a a type of hologram video call. Since Asseylum said she'd only been gone from Mars for 2 months that means that the journey is pretty fast. Cruhteo probably went to pick her up like he did with Slaine.
>tfw missed watching this was /a/ and just recently marathoned it
I mean its nice to see Inaho get killed but what the fuck Slaine holy shit
It's easy to see why he decided to kill Cruhteo so easily, he was the one that put him in his care and it was blatantly evident that Crutheo viewed him as trash at the end. Saazbaum made a very poor choice, should have just risked it and took him in himself. I have to wonder how much of a vetting process he even used.
It wasn't very exciting to watch with /a/ as the show was pretty boring. The episodes where Slaine and Inaho shoot each other got mildly fun threads though.
What was the point of making the show a monster of the week deal? Killing one martian at a time didn't solve anything ultimately because there is a fuck ton more. Vers never even seemed troubled by the losses. I have no idea where this show is going or what kind of message it tried to bring across.
So that the Earth characters could do something, their only real tie to the plot was Asseylum. Even now I don't know what they're going to do with them, the only real way to end this war is to fix Mars's issues. Beat them back and they'll just come right back until the real issue is solved.
This is the issue I have. When I think about the show it just seems like a lot of wasted time. Even killing Saazbaum solves nothing because versians hate terrans and will do this whether or not he started this assassination plot and continue without him.
What? What the hell can he do?
All Saazbaum did was provide the spark, all of the other Clans moved on their own. Taking him out really doesn't change anything.
Slaine for the time being seems like he'll be working with Asseylum, my bet is she'll have to go against her grandfather in order to stop the war. He's not going to pull out just because she tells him she's alive, they're in too deep. If Slaine becomes any kind of ruler it won't be until near the end, as it is he's just a regular Knight working under the Princess.
Yeah, ultimately she'll feel responsible for the state of affairs since it was her family's doing. Once she gets infodumped I see her stepping up, it's easy to see with how she reacted to Rayet.
I hope Slaine dies next season and the Martians lose the war, horribly.
Since they view those with Aldnoah powers as blessed by God they may listen to Asseylum and/or Slaine, it's not going to be easy. I see it turning into a big civil war between factions, we saw on Earth that the Clans don't get along with each other already.
There's no way they can lose the war. The only hope is for something to dismantle vers from the inside. The whole first season was the earth long a shitton of forces to a handful of martians.
Nobody dies in this show.
They needed to somewhat make Inaho relevant by attaching him to the princess. That's why they had to change Slaine's character from rebellious and ambitious to moeblob with a broken spirit that slowly gets his bite back.
They didn't even kill Crouton because muh scary female fans, if Slaine gets a permanent scratch, they'll riot.
That's also why the torture scene was changed to look sexy, if I recall Aoki's last shit.
>Mariner 9 (Mariner Mars '71 / Mariner-I) was an unmanned NASA space probe that contributed greatly to the exploration of Mars and was part of the Mariner program. Mariner 9 was launched toward Mars on May 30, 1971 from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station and reached the planet on November 14 of the same year, becoming the first spacecraft to orbit another planet — only narrowly beating Soviet Mars 2 and Mars 3, which both arrived within a month. After months of dust storms it managed to send back clear pictures of the surface.
>Mariner 9 returned 7329 images over the course of its mission, which concluded in October 1972.
>yfw when Asshime and Unko's VA's are massive slainefags
Jesus christ it sounds like they are getting heartattacks at the end
But his cheek bandaids were cute.
They were cute but him being back on his feet so so soon after that was ridiculous, they should have just had Cruhteo electrocute him if they didn't want him to be that injured. They have Yuki still running around with her mechanical brace but Slaine's fine after a severed beating?
If Gen were still here that would be the case.
Someone uploaded it the other day.
