Definitely. I expected an unusually well animated commercial for some stupid card game based on the trailer.
Shit is actually entertaining, the characters are actually likable, and what the fuck is this?
The characters in this are pretty likeable so far, especially favaro and kaiser, the demon chick though seems to be switching from being totally serious to being a retarded potato every 3 minutes so i don't know what to think about that.
I mean, either one of them is fine, the switching irritates me though.
Honestly, the girl in my pic and the girl in your pic feel like 2 different characters.
Also I love that she had a straight face while slapping him.
Amira's got a look that says "you gon act like a bitch, you gon smacked like a bitch"
She became permadrunk
Anyone else actually play the game?
tfw no /a/ order to rank top 20 cc with
its nothing like mtg
mtg actually takes skill
its just mindless fun and the order aspect is main thing that keeps me around
Being Spain Dandy is suffering.
Yep its a phone game developed by cygames called rage of bahamut
Cash shop oriented f2p mobile game with great art, but the gameplay isnt for everyone
Its so losely based on the game you wouldnt know any better if I never told you.
well comparatively this takes literally none, its not a card game in the "we sit down and outthink each other" sense, its just a stat game where the better cards will always beat the weaker ones.
unlimited money = unlimited power in the game.
if you dont go in expecting to rank 1 in all events in the first week then you'll probably have a great time. I've spent a minor amount of money compared to most and just worked the bazaar like crazy and I'm in a top 20 order with full legends.
>"Yugioh takes more skill than MTG."
Yugioh is way more limited than Magic, it's as if every match was Legacy and everyone had the same decklist, you hand a ygh deck to a 10yr kid and tell how it works and the kid is going to win against veterans and shit, it's fucking robotic.
Well to be fair Yugioh is actually a really complicated and difficult game, maybe one of the most complex TCG on the market, or at least for high level play. MTG is not hard though, not at all.
But I'm sure even MTG is significantly harder than whatever this mobile TCG is.
You couldn't be more wrong. As someone who plays both MTG and Yugioh, Yugioh is a MUCH more punishing game. It's actually pretty brutal in tournament play. It is needlessly complex though, even the most experienced players will sometimes be confused as to how something plays out. Can't tell you how often I've had to pause a dual to look up specific rulings for specific cards/chains.
Always been bad with player market systems, since I never knew how to play them and prices get gouged all over the place.
The way I see it is that I'm way too late to jump on the Rage of Bahamut train (the art's really tempting though), and just gonna stick to Terra Battle seeing how that game just got released.
I started playing in march, I thought I was too late to jump on the train too and I'm stacked now. you can get ff SSRs at as low as 6 hp with decent stats (22k atk or def) which is more than good enough to fill out decks with.
Also if I actually knew any anons who played I'd probably hook them up with extra srs/ssrs I had laying around
Good luck anon, my ign is ginbei if you're interested in adding and want any advice.
Also everyone in that game uses Line to communicate
>tfw my trusty iPod 4 broke a while back so I can no longer help cute assistants during holiday quests
>no more upgrading 16 rank 4 star cards to try to create the perfect 5 star
>no more team of cute girls to take down entire enemy fortresses
Has there ever been suffering like this
Not the anon you're talking to but I just started playing. Kinda addicted to the game but I blew all my resources on the event that's going on right now and then didn't even keep the cards around. Stupid, I know, but the 2 week restriction of not buying/selling is really killing me. There's pretty much no way for me to get better cards and on top of that I don't even know which cards are good or how much evolving to do.
Oh well, it's kind of a fun time waster. Are there any good guides you'd recommend? Or guilds for a newb to join.
sure thing anon
I'll write something comprehensive up for you, I'm currently 3 wins 0 losses so far in the event
My advice is to be incredibly conservative with everything while you're still starting out.
Personal HP (pink powder) should be saved for castle crushers (the order vs order events) if you're in an order, and if not you can save them for raid events.
HP (purple powder) is the primary currency in the game. You can buy it directly from Mobage for a shitty price at about $.25 per HP, but HP can also be bought from other players if you can find a reliable seller for about $.15 (if youre lucky) to about $.19 per HP. a cheap way to make HP as a beginner is to sell all devil princesses and devil queens you get at market price.
Personal cure water (pink fat vial) is used for restoring your stamina and for questing events (the upcoming event is a questing event). Cure water is largely considered easier to come by than pHP because you use less of it (3 events that use hp vs 1 that uses cw)
those are the main items you should know about, I advise finding cheap sr bases (ssr ff) that you're interested in and building or buying cheap ones of those, after events the SR for that event almost always sells for about 1 hp per base.
also heres a guide on evolving
best evo marks to shoot for are 6-11 or 4-7 if you're mainly shooting for the cards ability instead of its stats, never go for 8-15 as the amount gained between 6-11 and 8-15 is negligible.
Awesome, thanks for the detailed response. I kinda messed up and a lot of resources but I'll just try to get more. Would you say you can get enough HP to make the game enjoyable without spending any real life money? I don't want to spend real money on a mobile game even if it is oddly addicting.
The orchestra at work
In the past base SRs right when the Bazaar was introduced used to cost 100+ HPs, and Legends were nearly in the 4 digit numbers.
That's why Cygames is introducing new cards every event now. New SRs, SSRs, and Legends. Back then, when the game first started compared to now; most 1st gen SSRs like Date, Gawain, Arthur, Satan, were great with 21 to 22k attack.
Now, most current SRs do more as 6-11s then they do as 8-15s. Plus the addition of 5th form evolutions were select cards, and superevolutions (bumping the limit from 10 skill to 14/14) has changed things again dramatically.
Game used to have a balance of ATK/DEF boosts, event skills for damaging enemy castle and castle walls, bonus points to HW victories, hit to specific realm cards (hit to foe Man/God/Demon attack or def cards).
They made it much more simplistic but the Bazaar is the biggest issue. It absolutely bent over and ass fucked the economy and player market.
A Lord Arthur/Zeus/Lucifer maxed out even as 4/7s doing over 30k attack used to cost like 1400-2500 HP, now they are a third of that.
Probably not any more likely then Oliva or Beowolf's appearance. End of episode 2 either hints at Azazel, Lucifer, or Hades but I had a hard time being able to pick out who that was in the bonus bit of the episode.
Cerberus, Teena, Feena, Lucius, Zoe, Nightmare, the Not-Hogwarts cast, and the Skyship event crew story cast are the most reoccurring characters in the game's branching quest storyline.
>Alfonso not interesting
The fact its basically a prequel to the main Garo franchise is really cool and it has the same vibrant and latin esque feel to it that RoB anime does
Plus demon chicks, rape, uncensored titties and the best big bad of the season with Mendoza
I'm in a top 90 Order. Our we use Line to keep in touch, organize, and plan out our Order battles in CC and HW (latter is basically removed entirely from the game for better or worse). Our OL has us basically save all HPs and Personal HPs for CC. Since it usually cycles 3 to 4 raid/quest events to 1 CW, and if you don't spend all your stuff on stupid shit or go all out pointlessly in events with random fuckers from different teams in different brigades, you can easily build up several hundred personals.
Last event before the previous one right before CC, I got three Infernal Smiths from the box exchanges. Sure was cash.
yes you can get to an enjoyable place in the game (full ssr cc decks maybe some legends) completely free to play over time
nice man, I'm still bitter as FUCK that mobage removed event legends from the diamond boxes, seriously this is to be expected of them to be jews but damn.
Whats your ign? I'm always interested in knowing other anons actually play the game
Oh really? thats pretty cool. Ever since I've been in hellfire we've gotten top 40 cc, something like 5 times. I love it here.
Everyone I've met in this game seems like a normal, which is weird considering its an mobile card game with anime art
So the anime so far has:
- Jeanne D'Arc
- And the last could be either Lucifer, Azazel, or Hades (fucking Funi rips being overly staturated as fuck)
>How are they even making an anime about a mobage.
Like I said earlier, there's a fuck ton of lore in the game and multiple interconnected branching directly related storylines from event quests
>trailer out for months
Oh good, Amira will never look at your dick this way.
Friendly reminder that the Elevens don't give a shit about this anime, and it will never get a second season.
>and 50 more Saber figs
The thing that pisses me off is whenever a figure maker holds a poll on their facebook page asking their customers what figs they'd like to see come out next, the first three spots are ALWAYS shit like Saber, Miku, and BRS. As though the market weren't completely saturated with this shit. They actually want more.
Fantasy protagonists are hard to relate to and there's always the low hanging fruit of highschool self-insert-kun to grab.
Though Psycho Pass being 1st kinda throws my argument to the ground.
The best selling bishojo fig ever is that GSC Madokami though.
Fateshit fags are just very loud. Being mad about it is like being mad about Naruto. Garbage like that will always be popular.
There is no need for it to succeed, the show is already fund and is only being used as advertisement for an already humongously popular game.
It's like those Lord of The Rings video game adaptations that blow ass but still come out by the heaps, it's an already established franchise with truckloads of money behind it.
Yeah but Psycho-Pass is the grimdark and edgy series of the season. And it's an okay psychological thriller for anime.
Bahamut, on the other hand, isn't traditional anime style and doesn't hesitate to throw viewers into a strange, fantasy world that doesn't easily fit Japanese stereotypes. It probably gets decent ratings, but few otaku care enough to preorder.
First episode had 9k viewers on Nico and 62% voting for 5/5.
Second had 14k viewers and 86% voting for 5/5.
And next episode will most likely have Cerberus and a loli who may be a zombie or doll or something.
only noticed the discrepancy between their bounties on the second watch
If it was rotoscope it would be much smoother, people don't seem to want to admit it has poor timing here and there, sudden reversals of movement that snap over a frame or two.
The part where he throws her is sketchy as fuck.
Nevertheless the good stuff there is very good, just could have been joined better.
Realistically speaking, if this were to happen in real life, how fucked would you be?
>creating real expectations
>expecting exactly what you get in the trailer
>getting even better things like compelling active characterization and well timed humor
Why would you not?
Think twice, anon, there will be no more cute lolis and delicious model schoolgirls .And worse of all, there will be no more generic MC for you to self-insert, is it the future you want?
>That thick body
>Buy her new clothes
>Buy her a feast
>Get her shit faced
>Get her soaked
>Try and stick a knife in her
Ya ALMOST had it Favaro
Kaisar would've hit it
Nah, like goat hooves.
I want a one-sided romance by Favaro or Kaisar, where they eventually lose her in the end to whatever quest/mission she seeks to accomplish.
>The North is actually the South
>Hel - Norse Goddess of the dead/underworld also the name of the underworld itself
>Heim - Norse for Home
Hel also as an association would the north/cold however because well cold kills
So we will see if its literally Hel's home or if its just a name
