It's been a while but I remember it was rather charming. The shrine maiden and Sora's stories were my favourite, Sora's moreso. I didn't DISlike any of them but one of them (first or second maybe?) didn't feel as well done as they could have been, probably due to time constraints. As for the incest, I thought it was fairly tasteful, it was certainly nice seeing people have appropriate reactions to it (freaking out instead of laughing awkwardly and saying 'whatever floats your boat'). I thought the sibling's departure at the end was pretty sad, but hopefully they do eventually manage to work through their issues.

He is KIND of right though, the omnibus format, or at least because it was only 12 episodes, removed several key moments from Sora's route due to time constraints. For instance it didn't include the bit where Haru nearly drowned in the school pool and Sora saved him, thus showing with certainty that Sora can swim and is in fact a strong enough swimmer to save Haru while he is drowning.

You have to realize that his relationship with Sora was tearing him apart before she forced his hand at the lake scene. Well, HnS Sora route is much more lighthearted since there was no drama anymore, only dating. I would like to say the issue was that the anime didn't have time so it focused only on the important drama events, but lots of the missed events were also very heavy and some stuff was more light in the anime. Sora masturbation scene was much more painful in the VN with her desperation, while in the anime she was just saying Haru name.
