>ANIME OF THE YEAR, SO GOOD, SO AMAZING
Im not saying its a bad anime and im sure its just as great as dandy (never seen this myself, will probably give it a watch), but how in the FUCK can /a/ be so god damn hypocritical?
Dandy is Dandy.
Daimidara is Daimidara.
Dandy has barely a couple good episodes and a great opening.
Daimidara has a kickass opening that hypes the shit out of you even if the anime itself were shit, which luckily, is not.
Not the same expectations. Nobody expected Daimidaler to be watchable, and in the end it was a fun anime with boobs, JAM Project, 2D mecha and go nagai references.
On the other hand, Dandy disappointed a lot of people. It was supposed to be AOTS
(and it's my AOTS)and some people disliked it. /a/ being /a/, shitposting ensued.
I really don't get /a/
I mean, i understand its demographic is wide as hell with 13 year olds new to anime, 60 year olds who have been watching VHS they had to import and learn japanese to watch and everywhere inbetween, so it makes for an illogical and chaotic place. But even with that knowledge, i don't understand /a/ what so ever.
Its like /b/ but anime focused. Is there actually anywhere decent on the internet to discuss anime? Or by the simple inclusion of 'discussing anime' i forfeit any attempts of decency?
I've never met a good and large anime community. I stay on /a/ because it's the most bearable. Only small communities on forum not only focused on anime and manga can deliver good discussions.
>get compared to /b/
>no attempt to defend self
Expectations aside, Daimi is simply better. Dandy had an unlikable cast, boring episodes, and was episodic with no progression.
Daimi pretended to be an exaggerated comedy while actually hiding a serious attempt at plot (how many shows change protagonists midway?), and was, well, actually doing comedy/parody.
Dandy wasn't even deploying jokes so much as going "look, so inept, so retro, you have to like me!"
So, how about that BD coming out tomorrow?
It's an ePub or something, right? Pretty sure there is someway to take a screenshot or something. With pic related, looks like comic viewer might be an option.
The Kiriko/Shouma couple were annoying not only because they were introduced midway and didn't get time to win sympathy, but also because they were intentionally made annoying. Even the cast was lampshading it.
And there was much cheering to be done upon Madanbashi's epic return..
Just remembered these. Don't know how well they work or not. Godspeed either way.
Elder God Tier
Fun but meh tier
What the fuck is happening, is he a penguin now? Candles? Jesus fuck this hype Tier
Back to Elder God
Fuck this shit I want a second season and not this Tier
Hipsters and contrarians.
It works with any two similar shows. Find one that's popular and is heavily criticized for one criteria. Then find another unpopular show that exemplifies that same criteria. The popular one will get shitposted to death and the unpopular one won't.

Who is the male protag of the Mars series?
BTW, is anyone able to view this webm? I'm not able to, but I downloaded it anyway in case it was my fault, as I was told it was good.
Is there any other series featuring a mecha with a hair as pantenesque as its?
And also where the Penguin Empire comes from (unless they came from yet another dimension before that).
Mecha with hair, you say?
You know, this show reminds me of old hentai games in newgrounds, the art style also seems a bit old.
BTW, anybody knows something about the prequel manga, or the author? (if I'm right, his mother was the owner of a saloon that inspired prince)
Do the characters in that penguin hold some meaning?
Due to your dubs I have to say this, I love Ritz, I always love traitors that "sympathyze" with the (oftenn alien) invaders, and wear an adapted version of their clothing.
Raws, for anybody who wants them.
Volume 1 & 2 of Daimidaler:
Volume/Chapter 1 of Kasei Robo Daikessen (AKA Mars Robot Wars):
If you're still here, how's it going? Any progress?
I forgot to mention Bookwalker runs by that DRM thing. The Booklive extractor doesn't really seem to work, since it extracts images from an url. What do? Is there no way to extract images from DRM?
DRM is Digital Rights Management, right?
Have you tried >>110957867
Did a quick search and found these:
Hope one of them helps. If not, then Google.
There is not really a file to convert either. A window pops up when I click the Bookwalker icon then I can read the stuff I bought. But there is neither an url nor a file. I'm at a loss for what to do.
No problem. If we can figure this out, we might be able to easily get the rest of Daimidaler and Mars Robo Wars.
Nobody could possibly have expected the show to have such an amazing OST.
That sounds about right. From what I head, the new guy (whose name is Ryosuke or something like that) is actually a pretty cool guy.
By the way professors names are Mazinger homage
Sewashi, Nossori & Mori Mori.
Sewashiko, Soriko & Moriko.
Yes, but that's just a fetish he has. Beyond that, he seems to be a serious but kind-hearted of guy.
100% correct, except I would rate 6 higher than 7-9.
This show was unbelievably fucking good. Isn't there an OVA on the blu-ray tomorrow? I hope to God it gets uploaded, I didn't get enough with only one season.
I love this song. http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm23679801
Ritz is so wonderful.
If this thread dies but you make progress, please make sure to make a new thread once you figure it out.
What do you think the chances are we'll get some doujins? And if we do, by whom?
There are at least two decent doujins for c86.
The problem is whether they will get scanned.
Yeah, I guess I'll do that. I've searched through the archive and other places and there are a couple of persons that have ripped manga from Bookwalker, so there is must be a way.
I won't give up. According to someone on this forum you can rip them if you have a phone/tablet: http://www.dustloop.com/forums/index.php?/topic/4174-blazblue-official-art-thread-and-directory/page-48 I only have Android.
You can register for free but you need to pay to buy ebooks. Still, they are very cheap, I got Daimidaler OGS for 463 yen. So you could give it a try in case there is some manga or light novel that might interest you enough to spend a few pennies.
Good man. Never give up. We believe in you!
Pic slightly related.
