What forgotten anime are you watching?
Absolutely not. Basically every episodes are 5 first minutes were Moriarty steals something and Scotaland Yard is showing its incompetence, then 10 minutes of Holmes discovering the truth with his friends, then 5 action-packed final minutes (see the opening, they're actual scenes from various episodes >>110774512) were he saves the day and Moriarty escapes to his den, preparing another misdeed.
It's great though.
My standards for enjoying anime aren't ultra super high especially those OVAs from that era since I know at the time they didn't have the budget to make full TV series but could still be enjoyable.
Thinking of picking up some shoujos.
This and a shit ton of other Tezuka anime you can get on YouTube now.
Watching The Cockpit: Kamikaze Stories
Fucking glorious high budget OVA visuals and a classic story to top off the first episode. I'm just sad it's only 3 episodes long.
We don't judge with shoujo.
Not so forgotten.
It's still great though. 2nd episode totally captured me with that quote at the start, "For the cherry blossom, there is no returning home", and how it's used as a analog for the kamikaze pilots who fly the cherry blossom rocket planes.
