sorry m8, look at some cartoon references before moving forward with your project, I don't wanna be an asshole here but I highly doubt anyone will ever take any interest in something looking like this. Practice much needed.

Even simple blocky things like Minecraft have some sort of intended design.

The characters ITT are just bad and it's obvious. Nobody will get fooled by some "ugly on purpose" scheme when it's clearly done by an amateur.

Make sure when your characters blink that their eyes pull back into their heads instead of having any eyelid animation.
That's how M.Dickey does it and he's the absolute best at that style.
