SFM porn animators usually have tumblrs and do videos of popular characters. You can try that too but you have to actually be good and include audio and shit. They seem to do the best financially since they feed on existing franchises.

I make SFM porn, and there's only one person I know who I would class as an animator. It's a hobbyist field driven by the desire to see established characters in sexual situations, a desire that mainstream companies obviously won't cater for.

I'd say less than a dozen people make appreciably more than minimum wage in SFM. Most animations are short loops that are little more than motion posters, with pretty primitive animation. The appeal of the work comes mainly from the characters, sex act, composition and lighting.

Real pros won't tackle porn because they usually have career ambitions, friends and families which make it difficult to spend your time making porn. If they did produce quality porn, the amount of money available wouldn't increase greatly, it would just be shared around more, so it wouldn't be that profitable. Also, perhaps it's not as easy to make a film as you think.

If you're talented and want to make money, you need to find what is profitable and build a following. You probably won't though because most people who dream about quick bucks in porn are fantasists, even if they do have some ability.
