huh, never considered that. I might have a lot of inspirational material from one artist but never considered it.
Seems like they dont stand out as much as say, a 2D artist.
Though I can name a few poser "artists" off hand. That may just be my bad taste.

He actually offered a class once on his technique years ago.
The curriculum is still listed on some website, but I wish it were just videos. Instead, it's an actual class session, that he has to be there to teach, and he hasn't done it in years :(

Nobody cares who 3D artists are, it's all about the work they do. The less we know about the actual artists the better. I mean you don't want to associate good work with some greasy dick-faced artist wannabe now do you ? No, because that will just take away from anything decent anybody could possible feel for their art.

I know it hurts because we all want recognition ... it's just better this way, trust me.

maybe it's just how the industry expects 2d artists to create concepts and 3d artists to base their work on concepts
