After reading everyone's ideas... I now think this is what happened assuming it is or isn't staged.

"This is the unedited version of the last clip I uploaded. I deleted the last clip because I edited some parts out that I thought were useless. In reality this clip probably provides more information. It seems as if the camera person accidentally started recording as they were running. They were clearly in some sort of a hurry. I think I just realized the problem with the file names and resolution discrepancy, AND why it shut off.

The "camera" is a camcorder, it uses a tape that can then be transferred digitally via a firewire cable or something.
There were no image files because "photos" taken with camcorders are just still frames that last a couple seconds.(

So OP was probably screenshotting them and saving them himself.
Hence no photo data of any kind, and why he ignored the people asking. Because tbh it is a pain in the ass to explain how that works to people who aren't familiar with camcorders.)

The distorted ending cutting out to blue could very well be the tape running out.
