Ran across a weird problem when messing with bbLean. The text and buttons on my windows were transparent and while looking for way to change that I ran across a button labeled "Transparency" in one of the BlackBox menus.

As soon as I clicked that every menu became transparent and for the life of me I can't figure out how to revert that. Any ideas?

What DE / WM would you guys suggest for maximum flexibility

Fixed the transparency problem with the menus, but still can't figure out the other part.

The darker I make the titlebar the more transparent it becomes. The titlebar is supposed to be completely black in the screenshot but instead it's transparent.

I'm having a hard time figuring out how the fuck xinit works since I can't make openbox start right with xinit.

With startx everything goes great, but I don't know how can I make tint2 start with openbox using startx, and I'm trying from xinit, but without results.

no, that's a firefox addon called popvideo. it helps you play youtube videos in a separate video-player like window. i use potplayer with pix skin for regular videos.

Thanks for the info mate but I really wanted that you share your configs through a download link off mediafire or something, reason is I admire your rice a lot and came pretty close to replicating it but there are some things I can't figure out. editing the browser css and foobar skin is a bit off and i don't know where to start in fixing them. I understand if you're not willing but I really love the dark minimalist setup and it would work great on my dual monitors too. I would really love and settle for just the foobar and browser files

it's okay in terms of function, i haven't ran into any problems on that front caused by the vs. for the font i think i did some mactype work + tweaked the native windows settings for it but again, i'm not sure. it was a long time ago.

stop using honeycomb and remove the taskbar icons
you can just pin all your applications/programms /folders to your start menu by right-clicking them and choosing "pin to start". then you just need to aligne them and maybe change the size of the icons to "small"

you also don't need the cortana icon in the taskbar, since you can search when opening the start menu and just typing what you want to search

Open Nocturnal.msstyles and edit the path file on both [Control Panel\Desktop] and [VisualStyles] then apply the theme normally. That's how I got mine to work

I tried changing to Numix and it works just fine, that's why I ask you in the first place to see if you missed anything or about to update you theme.

Also I see that your explorer doesn't have the minimize and close option, is it the No Border theme version?
