Gonna keep it like this for the foreseeable future.
I particularly like how I can check the time without revealing powerlevel.
Finally a new thread lets hope it has more movement.

Chino is always Qt but what's up with 24 hour clock on Homescreen and 12 hour clock on Lockscreen?
>>1980614
Current paper. I got a "newfag" question. Which app should I use for my lock screen? I'm using ZUI Locker but I think it doesn't let you do much editing in your lock screen. Any advice?
Does no one here love Holo?
I do.
does any one have a comfy yuru yuri wallpaper??!!!
T-tomato!

ITT: Hidden powerlevel wallpapers.
>What is powerlevel?
Powerlevel refers to how intense of a weeb one is. Just as every character in shounen anime can hide their power from all but those with a knowing eye, powerlevel wallpapers are inconspicuous and don't hint at the anime fandom outright.
Examples of powerlevel wallpapers:
>An in-universe logo for a product or cooperation from an anime
>A well known item from an anime
>A setting from an anime that isn't an obvious still image of an anime background
>Other iconic imagery from the anime that might look like a logo, design, or otherwise to the uninformed everyman
Examples of what powerlevel wallpapers do NOT look like:
>Anime characters, regardless of whether they're vectors, silhouettes, unaltered, or otherwise
>Anime mascots such as Nichijou's Sakamoto
>Overdesigned blatant anime weapons, such as techno scythes
>A quote from an anime
Dumping the modest collection I have saved.

We get tons of cute girls posted on /w/ (not that I mind, since I like cute girls, too), but here's a chance to post some of the opposite genders. Traps welcome, too.

Please gimme winter/holiday wallpapers!
>What is minimalism?
Minimalism involves taking images and reducing them down to basic colors and removing most features. Most wallpapers will not include shadowing or faces, but this is subjective.
>Guide to Making Your Own

>Software
Use either Illustrator or Inkscape (both are free if you know what I mean).
>Requesters
1) Do not post images with incredibly intricate designs, vague or conflicting colors, or undefined edges, these make minimalizing very difficult.
2) Be sure to thank the artist!
>Artists
1) Always upload as at least 1080p PNGs, try and post transparents too.
2) Look over other people's works! We need good criticism if we want to improve!
3) Watermarks/signatures are not highly necessary.
Old thread: >>1956786
It'd be helpful if people actually read this.
Ahh... a fresh thread, new beginnings. So wonderful, let's make this a great one again!
As the name suggests, I'm taking requests, reply to this post if you specifically want me to do one.
However, I ask that you include the name of the character(s) you want and where they are in the image (if multiple present) and source material for our good friend the Archive anon's sake.
Next, I reserve the right to not take a request, but I will explain why I don't if that happens and you can try again with a different image if you so desire.
Finally, I expect patience from you if I do take a request. I am only one man (with quite a bit of free time every fairly often, but still), and I like to do my own choice of images too, so the back-catalog is rather flexible.
Also, please don't bump. That will not do anything but annoy.
Oh, if the old thread is gone and/or you don't know what I can do, I set up a deviantArt gallery of all the stuff I've done (you can refer to specific ones if you want yours done a certain way (shading, all flat, gradients, and whatnot)), which you can find here:
I think that's all from me on this kind of stuff. Let's make this one as productive as the last if not more so.
Here's the archive!
https://mega.nz/#!X8JRBTya!bFuJn5A1YP9FS2yIOWXjOEfajbwP6P7Vp6Fx19DlAog
Wow, we have a record for newly created entries, with 82 being added; all of them made last thread! This brings the total count over the 500 mark, at 512.
There is a new naming convention for ease of archival and search. If you can provide in your requests and or submissions:
Character Name - Series or Source Material
I haven't even come close to cleaning up the entire archive with these names; lack of time or understanding of who the character is has hampered this. But I'll keep plugging away at renaming old entries.
And a friendly reminder to post your submissions as a high resolution transparent for both archival and critique purposes!
Standby for important thread announcement.
Everyone's Attention Please:
Starting this thread, there is something new called MiniComp!
>What is MiniComp?
MiniComp, or Minimalize and Compare, is the process of everyone minimalizing the same image, and then comparing results.
>Who should take the request?
Everyone, both new and experienced, is requested to minimalize the same image.
>Why?
One of the main benefits of this thread over other places where minimalizations are created is that you are among your peers. Works are often criticized in order to improve people’s works; to learn new skills, and to see how some of the more experienced users do things.
No matter what your experience; if you’re trying this for the first time, or you’ve been with us for years, everyone is asked to participate. Newer users can post, receive critique, and see how the veterans did the same thing they did. And experienced users can more easily help newer folks since everyone has worked on the same piece. Or pick up subtle differences from other advanced users.
I know for some users, the simplicity of the requested image may turn you off, but please give it a try! It’s important for the health of these threads we foster more users to try minimalism, and it can only help with your participation!
If you've come to this thread a few weeks, it's okay! Please give this a try. No matter how or when you've joined us, they'll always be plenty of posters here willing to give advice, so give this image a shot!
It should also be said, this ISN'T a competition. It is for the purposes of learning and critique.
This thread’s MiniComp is Alpha Hatsuseno from Yokohama Kaidashi Kikō
It is requested that the output png should be transparent, at 6x the resolution of the original image. In this case being 3000x4260. This will make comparisons easier. Linking the svg file may be helpful as well.
Make sure to quote this post when you post your minimalized version, so it'll be easier for everyone to see submissions.
Have fun!
xd
