Articuno seems like Lapras but with different weaknesses and harder-to-get candies, Zapdos is basically worse than Raikou, and Moltres seems more durable than Flareon but there's not much use for Fire-types anyway. Lugia looks good against Fighting-types but I feel like Alakazam and Espeon should be enough already.

Sorry for the late reply. I don't avoid rubberbanding at all, it just rarely happens with me and it doesn't get me softbanned or anything.
Most of the time I prefer to close the app the moment I see it happens (you know, flashing/blanking the ingame map), since the jump is quite long it takes some time to load things up again so I think restarting is quicker.

My phone isn't rooted, it's a Sony Xperia Z3 with 6.0.1 android. I tend not to update my phone system stuff if it's all working good and all.
So I accidentally dodged the security update, otherwise I would have to root so I could downgrade my android version.

Going by most used, I'd say Blissey, Tyranitar, Machamp, Jolteon, Vaporeon, and either Golem (whose usefulness will probably decrease substantially after the birb hype ends), Snorlax, or Lapras. This also works sort of well for type coverage.
