Realistically, TPC would already have a model of Pikachu wearing that hat that they'd give to Niantic, and all they'd have to do is put that in game. Double exp means they'd have to either edit an exp multiplier if they have one, or just double the exp values by hand. I had a dream of Pokemon Go's anniversary. All news stations around the world were talking about some secret hidden in Pokemon merchandise that would clue in Pokemon Go players as to the locations of the very first Legendary Pokemon raids. It was like, Swordquest-tier hype. I called up my two Pokemon Go buddies and we got together to start hunting them down. We saw children and manchildren all over the place hunting for the clues. The day one hype was reignited, and we were reliving it.

Just got back from a magmar raid. It was halfway over already without anyone having challenged it before me. As the timer to start was almost done counting down, a car pulled up about 15-20 feet away from where i was sitting. It was some guy and his girlfriend. I looked up at them and the girl waved at me. Not been on /vp/ in a while but saw this thread.
I remember the days I played this very fondly. The entire planet was suddenly aware of Pokemon again, it was a gigantic craze. But it died out pretty quickly. They released Johto pokemon recently but I still don't see people playing it.

It was fun for a bit, but it got really stale. Battle system was terrible, the tracking thing was deleted so it became incredibly tedious to find that pokemon you were hunting. And then people starting cheating by playing it from their PC's or fucking around with their mobile's GPS so it thought they were in Times Square which had like a million spots to collect items etc, resulting in a huge power creep.

How is the game now? People still playing it outside of /vp/ and hardcore fans? Like I said, I don't see anyone playing it anymore while this time last year parks were full of people catching pokemon and chatting and having fun. Do you guys still go out and play it every day or is it mainly PC or GPS cheating?
