Lysandre is a good effect, vs seeker is not because it makes running Lysandre (and basically any supporter) as just a 1 or 2 of too cost effective. Just had a game against M-Alakazam where he chained 3 Lysandres into my Donphan deck, and I ended up winning the game with my fourth Donphan by Lysandreing an injured megazam back out. Too many of my games just come down to who gets a VS seeker first lategame, I really should have lost that game.

You get a code for a booster of that set, boosters are generated when you click open pack so no, it's not the same cards.

If it was that would be bad though because then you couldn't buy codes online, nobody would sell codes that had good pulls. Right now codes for like $0.10-$0.99 per pack depending on set, which of course is way less than actual paper packs which is great for online only players.

I agree, VS Seeker makes most decks have about the same set of supporters, you don't really need to focus on any strategy since you can run 1 or 2 of anything and still get to use 4 times if you need.

When most decks run 4 of the same card, there is clearly a balancing issue with it. If VS Seeker gets reprinted, it should become an Ace Spec.

Seriously, why are you doing this? Why are you so desperate to pick up fairly mediocre ladder prizes? Trading is so much more time effective than actually grinding the ladder for stuff. You trade until you have enough to buy whatever you need, then you play the game for FUN.

If you're playing with the sole intention of making your opponent forfeit on turn 1 so you can get ladder points, why even bother with the game at all? You'll get some stuff, but you won't have much chance to use it before the next ladder (and those big meanies at TPCi will be forcing you to item lock for another 3 weeks).

Just get 2*$25 keldeo arena deck and buy 2*$3 manaphy, 1*$8 glaceon, 3*$4 lapras gx, and 4*$2 max elixir.

Cheap waterbox deck. Shaymin need not apply but it would make it better. The octilary in the arena deck should do.

Also, never buy a booster pack that is over $2. You can get a booster box for $70 whenever those ebay coupons pop up. Otherwise you are just throwing money away.

Tool removal was way too strong, I agree we need something better than Ratata, but things like Megaphone push the game to the other extreme, where tools become almost useless.

Now, S&M is a bad set, but since it's trying to slow the game down, it's expected that we need 1 or 2 rotations before most of its cards become playable.

About the rarities issue, yeah, no way to defend that shit, it's ridiculous.

The best way is to check the set and set number of the exact card you want. Then filter for it in the public offers section. Don't actually accept any of these trades though.

Firstly, check your card's pack value using both the 'I am getting' and 'I am giving' filters. These will likely be overpriced and underpriced bad deals, respectively (as they haven't been claimed). You'll want to make a middle of the road offer which is slightly better than the offers you see. Alternatively, check what a trading company would charge and knock a bit off the price.

Click the button to create a trade and select the card you want in the 'I am getting' bit, with the packs you are offering in the other window (make sure you mark them as being for trade). It will cost you 8 tokens to post an 8 hour offer, but you get these refunded if/when your trade is accepted.

People do give a fuck about FA trainers but those are low value atm, Lillie isn't that good of a card until we get Tapu Lele in Guardians and Kukui is a decent card but no deck runs more than 2 of them and he's low tier husbando material. I'd definitely hold off on trading Lillie until may since the price will increase then.

A quick way to pull energy out of discard for a +20, might replace one of the OW Yveltals. Can also chain pretty well early game if you get it, use an ultra ball to discard it and a darkness energy, bring it up, elixir it then attach a darkness from hand, switch in for a quick 100+ damage attack.

Darkrai-GX is more of an expanded card imo since it hugely benefits from battle compressor. Darkrai-GX might be the card we need to make expanded Rainbow Road a tier 1 deck. Also good as a one of in Megaray and Garde-STS.

right now there are 2 pokemon that can pull themselves out of discard, exeggcute and ho-oh. That's two types. This darkrai is a third type.

Imagine you get parallel citied. Your bench is down to 3 pokemon of 3 types (you don't always see the same dual type use in expanded because of ho-oh/keldeo are better than Volcanion and Exeggcute/Jolteon are better than Galvantula). Right now, next turn, if you can bump the stadium you are guaranteed 4 types and have a chance (Ho-oh needs a coin flip) for 5 types on the next turn. With Darkrai, you are guaranteed 5 types and have a chance for 6. So before, 130-160 damage, now, 160 to 190 damage.

This doesn't count what you may be able to search for with your hand, what you can play for damage boosts (choice band, kukui, ect). It's kind of like Dragonite in Megaray, it makes the deck much more resilient against parallel city and unlike Dragonite, which has redundant typing with Shaymin, Darkrai doesn't share typing with the best supportive RR benchwarmers in expanded. Yveltal-EX is used in the deck as a benchwarmer/alternate attacker but the deck doesn't really lack alternate attacker options, it's just used as the best single dark type on a list that runs DCE and has flexibility with basic energy due to Ho-oh-EX needing 3 kinds to be at max efficiency (the dark/lightning/fairy mix currently used wouldn't even change).

It's too bad that TPCI is tacitly endorsing this shit though. The grass type Trevenant line makes both trev lock and vileplume lock better. I have no idea why they encourage this obnoxious style of play where every game comes down to who gets their obnoxious lock placed first making the game extremely frustrating for the opposing player until they are slowly forced to give up.
