I should just clarify that I only found 1 copy for sale from a UK vendor. Given how cheap it is in America, I was hoping that it might just be that that seller is over-valuing it. I'm not sure if it's genuinely really scarce over here, or people just aren't bothering to list them up for sale.

So if I have enough fairy energy on the board from geomancy, I can just drop 4 DCE and a fairy and gain 180 damage on my life stream which is already at least 40, so after a sol burst I hit 240

Instant 130 damage basic. Note, not 120 damage like Lurantis, oh no no no. Our big basic dark types have to hit the magic 130 number. Darkrai3 is going to be one of the top decks in the expanded meta. I could even see some memer running 4 of these and sky field, using them as an engine to constantly pull darkness energies out of discard.

If you had 4 of those in discard and the bench space to support them, you could just add +80 damage to your Dark Pulse instantly in a late game situation.

I just got back from Oceanic tcg championships and i gotta say, decidueye/vilepulme is the worst deck in the format. Both matches against it was turn 1 vileplume and literally all i could do was keep passing until he won, maybe a supporter every now and then. Thats not playing a game, thats just bullshit. Wont be playing again until forest rotates

How have you accumulated hundreds of tickets without having accumulated the value to build at least one good standard deck?

I won ~70% of the tournaments I entered with Raikou/Electrode. and only placed below second once. And it's not exactly a meta crusher. You usually meet a competent player in the finals but unless you get truly shit luck you'll usually run into tons of free wins in first/second rounds.

Use a deck that has a Jolteon and you'll get tons of free wins off of retards basic spamming without rangers. I think the current best deck to run in online events is Megaray with Jolteon-EX.

I agree with the fella above, you see lots of bizarre garbage, then meet a tier one deck in the final. Most people entering are far below what I would see in the ladder

There are tons of people netdecking top tier decks but just because you can netdeck doesn't mean you know how to play. I mean Raikou kind of autoloses to mega mewtwo and a well played yveltal, but against shit players you will usually win at least the yveltal matchup.

And I'd say at least half of people entering tournaments, especially during 'special event' weeks are using random cobbled together lists from pulls. If you get a notification about a special event that's a good time to spend tickets. When they were doing those ridiculous 20+ ticket tournaments I got 2 easy wins and a second place.

Megaray's a stupid expensive deck though (uses 4 shaymin 2 hoopa) so I wouldn't try to run that if you're not rich.

Having the one BKP Trev helps you immensely vs big basic decks. Nervous Seed + Item Lock is ridiculously powerful and ruins Volcanion, Tauros, dragons, and Glaceon. It also isn't a fire weakness which helps as well vs Volcanion while you set up the rest of your Trevs.

Honestly, FOGP is the entire reason why shiftry donk was broken enough to be banned, Vileplume is just a less extreme take on that horseshit, if you get the right shuffle you get a lock, get a lock and you'll probably win since your deck is designed to operate under lock while theirs has items.

The worst part is with the new trev they're basically telling us they're okay with this being a thing, and encouraging people to do it. WCS will be a clusterfuck of grass item lock decks and Volcanions.

Mind you, I don't think that either will actually take worlds, they'll just make it extremely miserable to play in, and a lot of good players will get KO'd by these disgustingly low skill decks.
