Yeah, though there's so few Pokemon around here that it doesn't really make much of a difference.

There's pretty much only two spawn points that even show up regularly, though the nice thing is that I know exactly where the other one is. So if something rare shows up at the other point, I know which way to start walking if I want it.

Two main reasons:

1. Same/similar name as the one they use other sites, so they don't want to be tracked from /vp/ to wherever else they post.

2. Precaution against false reports.

If enough people report a user as having an indecent username, Niantic can force a name change on that person. However, the game currently has a massive bug that prevents that user from logging in again if their account is flagged for a name change. So you can essentially kick people out of the game right now if you report them like this.

Actually, the only Pokemon whose CP changed in this update was Lapras.

That person probably used the multi-touch bug (now patched) where if you pressed the power-up button with two or three fingers, it would power up the Pokemon beyond the maximum for your level.

I am level 23. Been in my late teens/early 20s for a couple months now. At what level will I start seeing stronger Pokemon? I see people with 2k-3k monsall the time, and there are a lot of Pokemon I've yet to encounter, such as Dragonite senpai and Snorlax. When will they start appearing? Why do my encounters still average so low (400-600 average with the rare 700+)

1. How did they end up deciding to handle tyrogue's split evolutions?
Tyrogue candies and random evos?

2. How much of gen 2 did they release? The whole lot minus the legendaries? Or are there missing ones for no good reason like how ditto was missing

3. Did gen 2 alone get people interested in the game again? For me at least the issues go far beyond requiring new sprites to encounter.

In my area, they are about 75% stagnant with the other 25% struggling to get above 30k to stabilize. Stagnant as in they don't change color. Nearly all will be attacked once every few days but they either get rebuilt quickly or the opponent gave up halfway through
