If 11.3 comes out, you probably won't be able to put CFW on a console with that firmware.

But all firmwares below 11.3 will be capable of installing CFW, now and in the future.

Decrypt9 is just a utility.
You don't really install it, you just run it. It's most useful for downgrading to 2.1, where you can install the permanent a9lh hack.

The only time you have issues copying to a memory card is if you have an old, emunand cfw.

If you have a modern a9lh-sysnand cfw, then you can copypaste. And if you have only homebrew, you can copypaste.

Most of the time FBI booted from the HBL on the latest firmware isn't capable of installing .cia files because it can't own the ARM11 kernel.

Nvm, fixed it myself and sent it. The problem was actually that you had me inject the shields-up form, which can only exist once you send it out in battle with 50% or less HP.

To make sure it's legal in the future, just click the red exclamation triangle in PKHeX and look at the info it gives you to fix it.
