I did with all items but C-1 with all maxed team, took two tries but the first try was without shufflemove and lost due to three lost 50/50s where one success would've won (50% barrier bash+ not activating once and 50% m-mewtwo picking a mon when it had 0 tiles on screen twice), second try beat it with 0 moves left but without any super long lucky combos, using shufflemove. Even if it takes you two attempts, it's cheaper than one attempt with C-1.

Mega Sceptile will likely follow the pattern of other Hoenn starters.
Grass has the same kind of good ability distribution as Water (as in good stuff at the 70 mark - Shaymin, Virizion and one of Roserade/Gogoat).
Grass-type is super effective against:

Hard to say anything about it, but most of the time you'll be using Manectric/Ampharos, since it deals much better with disruptions. Might be barely useful.

It gets outclassed by Swampert itself (because of Palkia's base 80 and arguably better abilities in Greninja's Mind Zap and Manaphy's Swap+ [which outclasses Stabilize+ in a way]. Glalie has little merit here, but it deals with disruptions better than both Sceptile and Swampert.

Now things get messy. It still fights with Swampert for a mega slot, but instead of Glalie, opponents are the much better Garchomp (if only because of base 80), Lucario (it does get rid of disruptions) and Medicham (weaker, but it can Mega Boost itself and has a decent mid-term ability). And if the opponent happens to fight with blocks, we have Steelix as well.

Sadly, Sceptile will never get used if it follows a pattern

I dont know what to say. I did not expect to get this lucky. 3 moves left, but I dont know if the pastebin in wrong or if im reading it correctly.

He used 2 disruptions on me, one at moves left(8) and 1 on moves left(3). Both of them were 4 random blocks changed into rocks. The pastebin says after 2 times switch countdown, but for the second time he still disrupted twice, even thouhg it says "after one time"

Oh well fortunately, he never turned my columns into ice because I wasted 4 turns trying to get rid of the barriers.

Well, personally, I believe that how fast you clear the initial board disruption determines if you will beat it or not.

The main reason why i use diancie is mewtwos mega start. It gets rid of cresselia which means that you wont be able to use barrier bash. If you dont match mewtwo then you are just wasting a bunch of space on your board as if the mewtwos are metal blocks. Thats why I added diancie into the stage.

Also shufflemove is complete horseshit when it comes to the initial board disruption. Since rocks are easier to remove in comparison to barriers, shufflemove will prioritize getting rid of the rocks when the icons on the top rows are still frozen. I had an easy match for frozen mewtwo at the very top, and yet shufflemove kept telling me to get rid of the rocks for most of the top choices.

I haven't used items except for boss stages since 94-99 desu. Might have to at 296+ just to keep frustration at a minimum, but we'll see when I get there, should get there today

So, is this the worst safari ever or what? Not the usual 3-pokemon stages, instead we have stages with added pokemon (Fletchinder is the worst offender, throwing both Bulbasaur, Rocks, Blocks, Coins and itself in the mix, although it's not that hard to beat despite all that); super rare Pokemon, not one but two, and they're not even legendary or that special at all; and nothing seems to want to get caught. The only mons I managed to catch were with a great ball after getting MAX catch power. And of course, I haven't even seen Camerupt or Gigalith yet. At least the 3 pokemon stages were fun with all the combos you'd get, so even when waiting for Phione to appear you'd gladly kill another pokemon you'd already got (after all, there was the chance for experience or coins if you got Staryu/Starmie) but now, with a Water/Grass team it's no fun at all trying to beat fucking Fletchling (and sometimes failing to do so) while waiting for the 2 elusive bitches to show up, so I end up quitting the stage from the start when it appears.

I don't know if it's worth putting the escalation battle on pause, I could be advancing there instead, but I want to catch them all so...

Stages can spawn your own mons in disruptions, it's happened before (see Lickilicky for example). Also if it goes to do a disruption but it won't have any effect, it will do the animation but not change anything (see many stages with lots of barriers).

100 is the last boss stage doable without MAJOR cash investment. 300 absolutely requires all items, and I had to use C-1 along with AP, DD, and M+5 to get past 150, 200, and 250, as they all have 5th support. It was a bit of overkill on 150, and I've heard of people beating 150 without C-1, but imo wasn't worth the risk.

It has 4 badges in mobile becose its 90bp and has a better ability than regigigas. But being normal makes it absolutely trash in turnbased stages

For Timed Stages its one of the best and most of the time used for top5 players due to its ability. Double Normal (despite the name) increases damage done by normal types to x2.4 (SE does "only" x2 damage). So activate its ability right at the beginning and dont let the combo drop. But since this is very hard to pull of you will fail most of the time and dont use it.
