They show in the trailer the MC in the same room that you have in SM, same with the house, so unless you start at your house and then immediately go to take a boat and start on a new island, they're reusing route 1.man, now that i look at the map, it looks weird how empty it is, it looks like you could easily put 2 more whole isles

We have the clouds that look like legendaries. We had the Spanish printed Magazine that accidentally mentioned we'll visit Sinnoh in USUM and we have this portal in Sinnoh that looks like the one in Pony Island. Coincidence?? Should we hype?

By today's standards broken and buggy, only good for broken speedruns, a quick laugh at the broken mechanics, or a nostalgic romp through your past. However, it was the start for Pokemon and has solid designs.
Rating: (Mediocre-bad)

Fixed much of the broken mechanics of its predecessor, added new pokemon with great designs, great music, and doubles the length of RGBY. Very fun even by today's standards, and remains a good entry point to the series.
Rating- (Fantastic)

Further expanding the roster of pokemon and adding better graphics via being on the GBA, a worthy successor to Pokemon. Doesn't have a second region like GSC, but the endgame is still very very good with the Battle Frontier, and is still a fun challenge today. However, many pokemon's stats did not suit their type (pre physical/special split) and left many pokemon in a bad situation of unusability, whereas most pokemon in previous generations had their stats with the type of move in mind.
Rating: (Great)

Updated version of the original RB/G, with the absolutely horrific balance of psychic types and chansey being fixed. Also increases the endgame content with the Sevi Islands, which are fun to explore and offers a decent amount of Johto pokemon to obtain. Despite this, when compared to Emerald and the Battle Frontier and general presentation of that game, it falls a little flat.

I will say this outright, Diamond and Pearl and fairly mediocre by lacking a good deal of the innovations of Emerald. Platinum however came along and fixed this by adding a proper Battle Frontier and expanded upon the endgame explorable areas, as well as making more legendaries capturable. Wi-Fi and the physical/special split were added, which both look many obsolete pokemon from previous generations and made them viable, such as Feraligatr or Absol, as well as made Pokemon a more competitive game than it was.

GSC was already a great game, and HGSS made it even better. Beautiful pixel graphics, remastered versions of the already amazing songs that were composed for it, Pokemon interactivity, the Pokeathalon, and updated and improved areas to explore, as well as the previous improvements of Platinum.

New pokemon, the fairy type being added, 3D animations in a chibi style for the overworld (with admittedly high poly pokemon in battle), and mega evolutions. Some say megas and the fairy type broke apart the meta, and it is debatable if it did. However, the story is quite a bit worse than previous installments, the areas can be very tedious, you get Lucario's furry dick shoved into you against your will, and there isn't much in the way of end-game besides raising competitive pokemon for Wi-Fi.
Rating: (Mediocre)

Pokemon ruby and sapphire with the 3D paint over it, and gutted of most of it's endgame content besides being able to capture Deoxys. The battle frontier is gone, and many areas are just copy pasted from RSE with the 3D paint slathered on, and while capturing legendaries is cool, it doesn't make up for the lack of endgame.
