Something about Record Breaker
It's not the same..
Strength - How hard you stab things
Stamina - How hard you can get stabbed
Speed - How fast you go, how well you can dodge and shoot, chances of running, and your accuracy
Magic - How much of a wizard you are. Useless for the MC
Luck - Improves running chances and item drops
Intelligence - How well you can negotiate with demons
also INT is absolutely needed if you want to negotiate with demons at all
if you don't improve it from the base level, you will be unable to recruit 90% of all demons
get it to like 15 or something
Not in SMT1. The only way to reduce magic damage is to wear armor that can resist whatever element of magic that's getting cast. Thankfully, enemies generally don't hit too hard with magic.
So is it safe to say that they aren't using those godawful dub voices from the godawful anime in Record Breaker? That entire dub sounded like it had the same amount of funding as an abridged series.
Bonus points if they dub the entire game without any trace of Yuri Lowenthal.
>What if the Durarara characters get cut from the BR localization due to rights issues?
I wonder if we can at least get some generic reskins replacing them rather than just having them and the content related to them completely cut? Capcom does that with the
Monster Hunter games at least. Although here I guess there's the issue of editing their map sprites too, not just replacing the artwork...
Still, they could just throw in 3 Devil Survivor 1 characters or something if their roles aren't too big or specific to them, since they wouldn't need either new sprites or artwork.
Then lets hope for the best but I dont see it happening, especially if for any godforsaken reason the durarara characters ingame have voiceovers then there's no way in hell they'll get the license
SMT x Kamen Rider when
Gaim just needed a proper law faction that doesn't fall apart halfway through the show and it'd be pretty much SMT x Rider.
Some episodes in the 10s felt straight out of Devil Survivor, and the whole build up with the three leads was very mainline SMTish. The monsters also were (well, partially) based on mythological creatures.
Gaim has a law rep for most of the show, with Yggdrasil and then later Micchy and Redue's "partnership." If anything I think the problem is that there was no decent Chaos rep. Kaito seems Chaos in the first half but later reveals he's a lawfag deep down as he tries to destroy the world to create a new one where the weak won't be oppressed. But that's a conversation better suited to /m/.
So how that's Record Breaker, guys? I heard it's getting a new localization. Does that mean the autism's getting taken out?
He's actually not that selfish. The whole reason he tried to become King Abaddon is to support the village while also ensuring his sis won't be raped by bug people, whose overtaxing and rules that left most of the people poor and starving, along with most young folk having left for the city.
They couldn't bend over for the asshole mutants with God Complexes anymore. He didn't realize that Apollyon and King Abaddon are agents of God and despair, and he's neither.
I hope they keep them in. I LIKED how the autism responses were relevant, in that they served to "cheer up" the rest of the characters. He's being comic relief on purpose, for good reasons.
Points for also being the main character at the same time.
Also Lucifer knew and didn't explain things thoroughly to him, because he's a dick.
Unlike with Raidou who he loves to beat the shit out of him and turn him on enough to become an angel.
The Bug people see him as Beelzebub, and Lucifer takes the form of his minion in the first fight against Raidou to test him.
He even comments that he's not doing the evil laugh or speaking like the real one, and then corrects himself.
Also while depressed after the fiasco, Dahn still wants to make up for his mistakes and try to help others. That's why he sacrifices his life on Law and seeks a home for the non asshole mutant bug people on Neutral/Chaos.
Bind, fundraise, on Barbatos specifically.
He's late game though, but that's the only time you should be obsessed with macca. Anything you'd be up to before that you should be able to support on relic hunting.
>asura kicks my ass the first time
>i'll actually have to swap around some enemies and skills for this
>every demon on plan team has at least fire resist, and pyro jack is there to insure every time he does a fire attack, he loses his turn.
>high agility and constant flynn casting evade boost to dodge melee attacks
>david there to fuck him up with status effects and prevent smirks
>attempt 2 goes down well, recieve no damage for 3 turns
>nozomi decides to constantly spam zan each turn out of nowhere, which gives asura smurk and stops me from attaching a status effect on him with david
>javeline rain while he's smurking one turn, crits, he uses it again, crits again, fights over
>all because fucking nozomi
if i go full law do i kill all the unclean scum?
Are you sure? None of the resources for SMT1 mention that, and I don't recall much variance between how much magic damage my party members take.
Either way, even if it does decrease magic damage it's still better to make it a dump stat for the Hero since, like I said, enemies don't deal much magic damage to begin with.
Am I the only one who doesn't like Lucy popping out of mainline to mess with subseries? I like Devil Summoner because it tells stores with demons as a part of it, as compared to Persona focusing on people and mainline being about conflict that revolves around demons/angels.
The Raidou games take place in the past of mainline, thus they will inevitably show up. The whole point of Raidou XL's time travel scheme was to thwart the Messians control of the future.
I've seen it mentioned before, and also that every stat has a slight effect on negotiation.
Magic may be pointless, but I would still advise dumping incense on him for it.
I really loved Raidou 1, but I know I'll never want to go back to it after playing Raidou 2, so I want to get the very most out of it while I can. What are some interesting side objectives to complete? I'm planning on filling out the compendium, doing all of the training halls, all of the side quests I can find, and maybe
a third playthrough on Devil Mode
So is there ANY kind of update on the if... translation? I thought Gideon was already mostly done with it? Could I send him money or something? I just really want to play this fucking game, man
>prep a different team
>all drain or repel on fire
>only need to worry about healing flynn now since the fucker asura always follows up a melee attack with a flame attack
>no way to attack his weakness though besides the occasional flynn throwing mabuffu rocks
>slowly chipping him down to low health and withering the crit storms nozomi triggers every other turn
>asura attacks nozumi twice in one turn, she dies
>battle ends and mission failed if nozumi gets knocked out
fuck this quest
Honestly, It doesn't bother me, but why?
but i can dream with someday date a qt atlus staff grill, to talk about mara chan.
Why don't you try getting demons with Ice skills and focus on racking up Press Turns rather than worrying about Asura's turns? you only need one demon with drain Fire for him to lose all of them anyway
Break Record just sounds nicer, and we're all already used to it. Break Record is already a thing. BR is a thing. Now it's RB.
It's an unnecessary change and I hate that shit. It's not that big a deal but it rustles me quite a bit.
because nozomi guarantees asura a free smirk at the start of his turn.
which translates in to a free crit if he decides to attack first, which gets him another press turn.
that adds up to 3 turns
and if i dont have fire resistance at the least, he wipes me with a smirk javeline and maragion combo
im throwing around fusions to try and do that now
>Revelations: Existence Smasher
>any reference to demons and angels are replaced with the word "Monster"
>cover art is a realistic looking many Kazuya with a machine gun
>Chaos Hero is black
>Law hero is blond
Is it normal in Soul Hackers to just storm through enemies with the protagonist and Nemissa later in the game? I'm at the double Algon towers and just the two of them are steamrolling enemies. I have like 160k MAG just sitting around because I never use demons. Is this typical or did I overlevel or something?
I should finish that game one of these days, I got up to the fight with Ose in the assembly of Nihilo
How for am I?
It sure is a good thing that we know the "morally superior" path where even if we had magical ability to erase the negative tendencies of the worst people to turn them nicer for everyone's safety, we wouldn't do it because it interferes with their "freedom."
Yeah. Heh heh. Think about how bad it would be to do that.
implying both of them are JapaneseBut still, Abel has always been considered has canon name. Names have always been weird in SMT
DeSu 2 = Hibiki/Hiro
SMT I = Kazuya/Whatever name Kaz gave him
SMT II = Aleph/Whatever name Kaz gave him
The only SMT Protags that have actual canon names are Flynn and Demi-Fiend
>you will never
