excuse the whole dark souls and oc bullshit
Not. A. Problem.
PRAISE THE SUN!
Many thanks; I believe in you too.
I'm a few hours into SMT IV so far, and I'm really digging it. Does Ma affect your magic defense in this game? If not, is there any reason to put points into it if I'm going for a physical build?
I feel so empty.
Emptiness is all there is...
Thanks and that amaterasu looks fucking adorable.
>You can negotiate with bosses.
How did I not know this.
I fucked up and forgot her ear. I'm sorry
Saludos desde la capital del imperio.
Why arent you playing with the fairies smtg
Tell me you wouldn't go pedo for this semen demon.
>get to Tokyo in SMTIV
>holy shit this is really cool
>step into a side alley
>monster horde kills me before I can even make a move
>brother has spent all 100+ my play coin reserve and he's only just reached level 10
I want drawfriend to draw Mirai hanging out with her dad/mom
Expert Scout and Scout + really make the game fun. Finally demons aren't jews anymore. Now if only the fusion system wasn't all "You don't know which demons equal which fused demon? Fuck you" but you can't change everything I guess.
Don't worry, it only gets better.
>We live in a world right now where there isn't a pyro jack version of king frost called the great pumpkin
Tit count surpass penis by far, its not Kaneko faults that you take more careing for the dicks.
I've played through part of FES and I've beaten Soul Hackers, SMT IV, and Golden, and now I'm playing P3P on emulator.
Should I pick hard or maniac difficulty because I hear the game is easier because you can control your party members.
Also, should I evenly level up every single person that I recruit? In FES I only did the original three and some battles were tougher.
She has mind charge and a Diarahan if i remember well. Akihiko is your defacto debufer/buffer.
I havent played Golden but the last time i heard P4G is the most casual ATLUS game since Persona 2 IS. So P3P should be harder than P4G.
I meant as in playing hard or maniac difficulty instead of normal, because P4G just increases demon health and lowers your damage I think, I read here that there weren't good difficulty options.
This seems like the most logical one. Yukari gets Mediarahan and Salvation, right?
>tfw beating minotaur with walter and after my only buff carrier got sniped in the first exchange
Apsu is a boy and he has tits on his arms. Ometeotl has a vagina on the male half and a penis on the girl half.
Tiamat evolves into Ym, who is a jellyfish penis man dragon.
Oops. Forgot to post earlier. Its a little late but oh well.
She doesn't have emotions. So she wouldn't see a problem with this.
Still better than Isabeau.
For every one dick you get 2 to four tits, if you only notice penises the most its your own damm fault for being a fag.
I wish all three sides would have more universal polytheistic gods as their representatives. Its always angels for law, devils for chaos, and a local protector deity for neutral IF that. Elsewise just muh humanity. We were apparently LUCKY in strange journey to have the "mothers" instead. I want some actual diversity. Not just a different angel each time. Or in the case of IV... not even a different angel technically.
I want some actual Buddhist gods as representatives. And even if they won't be "hands on" have some universal polytheistic gods for neutral. Some pantheons who talk about how they don't interact much with earth, but want to make sure that the "titans" are kept away from assaulting humans.
Then some other gods for law too. Dunno which. I'd even be happy with some good representatives from the vile race coming up and being them. We could have a game that's light / chaos vs dark / law, but with some good neutral pantheon as a good side as well.
Too bad mormonism doesn't have an alternate name for Satan/lucifer. In mormonism, satan told God that a good plan for the salvation of humans is to take away free will so that everyone would live perfect lives, and thus all be saved as fast as possible. And jesus came and said that that's bad, since no muh free will. And then satan got mad that his plan was rejected, and turned into the devil messing up the humans in part to show how bad free will was. Such a character would make an awesome dark / law figure contrasted against a light / chaos base.
Mastema was the opposite mythologically. He asked for demon subordinates so as to spread chaos among humans. Which is why I begrudgingly admit that shifting him to a neutral angel representative was clever since its arguably a good representation of his mythological form when taking into account that demons represent chaos rather than evil.
Dunno. I want Satan to show up again as a characer. But also want a different group as the law alignment, who aren't angels. Nocturne was nice, but I want things mixed up even in a standard type game. The "tradition" of always having it be lucifer vs the cardinal angels is a bit tired. Especially since in half the games they aren't even law.
>SMT IV Naga fight
>Two crit lunges kill my two demons
>Another two crits wiping all of my party
Those fuckers are hardcore as shit
Im gonna be uploading the pic sometime tomorrow Ive got it all planned out perfectly and I think you guys will enjoy it I would've gotten it done sooner but I got addicted to a game for a few days
one more question, do you guys want it colored? I ask because Im pretty shit at coloring but I can try if you all want
this is for the merkaba and yhwh drawing
Actually angels could work if they went with the less used ones or certain groups.
Like the Amesha Spenta, Angels of Death, Angels of Punishment, Angels of Destruction, etc.
Rahab is pretty much the weirdest one. He's been part of the Dragon Race/Type in the games he has always appeared in, even when he's a member of the angels.
But they already did that in devil survivor with remiel. Okay, so now we've seen common angels AND uncommon ones. By this point they really need to do something new. IV was a good game, but it honestly didn't add much that we haven't already gone over. Other than a neutral angel representative who you might not have even noticed since he's in two scenes.
Tell us more. Living in a wurld of str is one way to find out how stupid it is.
Sorry, for those who don't know, to clamrify, and also because I'm drunk
You pull a card that says something with fill in the blank(s), and then everyone else plays a card to do so, and you pick the winner from the pile
Virgina Tech was what she picked, even though she didn't know what it was.
She also doesn't know who Nic Cage is.
We live in Canada, so she should've. She was old enough to know it was a big deal at the time.
And I'm not the only one that was surprised; anyway, it just led to that dialogue.
I'm just a vulgar personm.
Remiel is one angel instead of a group to represent the alignment.
I'm talking about the group as a whole. Like how there are six-seven Amesha Spenta, 7 angels of death including Samael and Michael, etc.
Not just one angel. Besides they tend to use the angels from SMTII at least once in another game. Even Zaphkiel and Haniel show up in Card Summoner, and Zaphkiel is the least used one.
Soul Hackers for example had three of the Grigori's leaders as enemies, and Kokabiel didn't show up because he's still an angel in Soul Hackers.
The problem is his physical skills.
I go into battle expecting agi with my fire resistant armor and demons and I get facepunched to death instead.
There is no Vit stat in 4
Do you even have access to demons that resist phys at that point? I can't remember.
Having Bufu lets you build up press turns and spam buffs so that you can get Rakukaja/Tarunda maxed out as early as possible. Actually, fuck Tarunda. Use Fang Breaker.
>Do you even have access to demons that resist phys at that point?
William wallace is the only one I can think of. Dont have anything with tarunda or fang breaker. Ill look into it.
>implying ken is worth using when anybody else can do his job better
>not always having at least one buff and healing spell on at least one of the MC's personae at all times
Ken is worthless.
short giten update, continued directly from the last installment of This Game Isn't So Bad I Promise
Ken is Mediarahan, just like Yukari, everything else is irrelevant.
Wasting turns on MC for healing or buffing is stupid because the MC is by far the best damagedealer in the group.
nig u crazy
Tezcatlipoca would be megaten's lawful Aztec in the pair
>dark neutral/ dark law
whether or not that's ironic with actual aztec mythology is a separate matter
His light spells are situational, easily replaced by switching persona.
His lightning spells are worse than akihiko's.
his stats growth also focuses too much on agi.
I had 2 demons (+MC) with Rakukaja and one with Sukukaja, so my first turn I used all of those then spammed Bufu on it with my MC and regular attacks/healing with my demons.
He didn't put up much of a fight, the only minor issue I had was when he used his multi hit move twice in a row one of my demons died.
At that point if you fuse right you can also get a demon with Sukunda as well, so you can just make him miss fucking everything and never get to move.
>Finish turn of random battle
>Only 1 enemy left
>Jonathan: THERES AN OPENING
>Against an demon immune to Ice
>CRIT KOS 2 OF MY DEMONS
Fuck you Jonathan
I'm going with Walter out of spite
He's a Wake-Up Call Boss, like Matador from Nocturne.
Matador is one of the classiest motherfucking demon designs in the franchise, almost nothing can compare.
..Which is the point of the boss
Matador is designed to make you go 'What the fuck how am I supposed to beat this guy... Oh, if I use these buffs/debuffs hes actually super easy. I guess buffs and debuffs are actually good in this game unlike every other JRPG'
See the color of the shield when casted to determine what element can get throught like if you see its bluish then use bufu (If it fails then its the opposite element, i forgot the logic behind the barrier).
>no money for SMT IV
>suddenly get 30 euros
of the same alignment as meplan to go back to WoW
I bet this was Atlus' doing.
Fuck you, MMOs are fun with friends and WoW is good.
>tfw finally get SMT4
I decided I'll stack Luck on my first run, let's see which path I get when answering truthfully, I usually get either chaos or neutral.
Sometimes they're useful to have fun in multiplayer games.
Check them out yourself:
If I remember correctly Matador in III was good for when you first got him, Dekaja, Focus and 19 agi Taunt abuse for cheesing randoms and all that good stuff but he couldn't really keep up with stuff 8 levels above him, Daisojou is amazing for reasons I'm still incapable of comprehending, Biker was meh, White and Red Rider made for a nice pair, together they have access to Dekaja+Dekunda, 3/4 elemental coverage, enough slots for support skills like Debilitate and amazing resistances, White Rider insta-gibs shit with his Expel Bow too, Black Rider is a pretty good caster, Pale Rider is Black Rider but worse edition, mama Harlot is fantastic and the Trumpeter is pretty gimmicky but still good depending on how you build him, Dante is great for anything that's not Lucy.
>Minotaur says that shit he says just before he dies
>fuck yeah beat the guy on my first try
>suddenly MOST UNFORTUNATE FOR YOU
>crits two of my demons
>all of them die
>kills me in his next turn
I'm all for difficulty but I really feel like Atlus should have made it impossible for Walter to join you in this fight, it's annoying to get punished for the AI fucking up
I was just curious to see what kind of mainstream coverage the game was getting. I should have realised what I was getting into when I saw I saw the site was called Anime News Network
Demand goes up, supplies go down. And vice versa.
Even in post-apocalyptic times, there's gotta be some commerce going. Even if it IS capitalist as fuck.
On the bright side, helps be a gateway game into MegaTen for others.
>mfw Minotaur's MOST UNFORTUNATE FOR YOU Labrys Strike killing spree happened to me for the first time
Maybe it stems from embedded WWII guilt?
Or maybe that's just Atlus.
>>Atlus is well known for SMT
You mean that spin-off series of persona?
I don't really like it, it's too hard and the characters are so flat, no way I could empathize with them and that's very important for me.
I bought SMT IV expecting a hot springs scene and maybe a skiing excursion, instead I got a hardcore dungeon crawler what the fuck atlus why put Shin Megami Tensei in the title if it's got nothing to do with Shin Megami Tensei: Persona
Explains all the ICBMs. In IV and I, and maybe II (don't remember). And the Nuclear Microwaver in DeSu.
Stupid is as stupid does.
you're misreading this
japanese people don't hate japan
the self-loathing is from foreign influence.
Hugo isn't exactly the most lawful character himself, but the mikado culture is pretty much in line with mainline law, and mainline law is rarely the point of view of a good nihongi
neutral and chaos is where you have people who aren't self-loathing
Yeah, they had to adopt foreign (American), values to get their modern state with all its comforts.
Law in SMT games really represent that well, you give up on something to get a comfortable society.
Some may disagree, but that's why we got chaos.
The EMP in DeSu was not nuclear and most likely wasn't a microwave. They explained why they can't use a neutron bomb in urban locations and microwaves would penetrate buildings even worse than neutrons.
The more you know.
Just got 4 (Eurobro) and I'm about 3-4 hours in and I'm still using the base equipment. When do I start getting halfway decent stuff, the shop sells shit.
Also what are some good early game demons to aim for?
Alright /smtg/, I've finished the Law and Chaos paths of SMTIV, and now I'm aiming for the White route for shits and giggles. The question now is, should I reincarnate for the Neutral ending or should I only take certain things with me, like the available compendium demons and whatnot.
I had intended to start again from scratch on Master difficulty with only the Compendium carried over, as a sort of last hurrah before I finish the game completely, but is it really worth it? Just how hard is Master mode?
Not that hard. Beginning is obviously more difficult, enemies do more damage and everything costs more.
Fiends are hell though, two hits and you're probably dead due to increased damage.
eh, are you said anon?
i don't see how it's bait, and i don't see why people are taking the person icons so seriously
atlus can do better, but it's kinda a trivial criticism.
i can respect the opinion, but it's kind of a benign opinion, so nobody should really get worked up about it one way or another
Yes, I am that anon.
Really, it just seems so... lazy to have a board game piece instead of, say, little versions of the characters walking around.
Now I want to see sprites of the various SMT protags in NES Dragon Quest style.
About to test something I read:
Black Frost has special dialogue if you say Yes to recruiting him in Nocturne when you have...
a) A full stock of demons
b) When you already have a Black Frost in your stock
I'll post what he says here; not gonna bother taking the pictures and posting them here, sorry.
>even above smash bros
> This Minotaur fight.
THIS IS COOL AS HELL.
IT HAS SOME SWEET MUSIC AND HE TALKS TO YOU MID-FIGHT AND SEEMS LIKE A COOL DUDE.
I like this game.
I liked that bosses talked to you. Responses affecting the course of the battle is awesome. Makes you feel the alignment choices have more "oomph" outside of plot decisions (slight spoiler? maybe).
Best thing to come out of Persona 3.
This is from Lesser Drawings.
Please curb your whining about"tumblr in the filename".
Hey, /smtg/. I saw the sale on the shop, and I've been sort of interested in SMT/Persona for a while, but never got into the series. I read the chart, but I'd like to start with a handheld. Which one would be best?
I decided early on that since this game has a ridiculous amount of text (and I'm still learning, myself), I won't be translating it entirely. These pastebins are translations of a brief summary that a Japanese player wrote from their playthrough, with some added bits and context since I'm translating it as I play through myself. I translate some extra in-game stuff sometimes either here or on Twitter but, yeah, def not an LP or anything.
As for PC98, the Windows version doesn't work reliably for me, and I prefer this one anyway.
> Given the choice to name the Mikado terminal.
I have not felt such a strong urge to be childish since naming the rival in the original pokemon games.
I don't know why, I never name plot important things silly names but this terminal can't be a huge deal.
Should I just leave it as Mikado since it is my first run?
I enjoy it, yes. As far as I can tell, it gets its bad rep because of the sexual and gorey content, but story-wise it isn't all that different from your average pre-90s SMT. The cast and NPCs are one of its shining points.
The first pastebin I posted started a few hours into the game since I wasn't keeping organized track before that point, but gimme a few minutes and I'll link it.
just a reminder, a lot of smt4 info is in the links in the OP.
you can still ask, and someone will probably answer, which is fine,
but it's a bit more efficient on your end to check out some of the pastebins first, so you don't get needlessly frustrated if nobody gives you a decent response.
it's not a new game, most of the meaningful info has been well documented
enjoy yourselves, regardless.
ps. repeating this incase people missed it, demons are profoundly less likely to join you if you're accommodating to everything they ask. if you say no to something, luck notwithstanding, they're more likely to let up and join you.
SMT4 is fun as fuck! Been playing for 13 hours today, the game gets what made those oldschool megaten great while also providing tight gameplay mechanics of the modern era.
>People say Minotaur and Medusa are the only challenging bosses in the game
>Had no trouble with them
>David and Grendel give me a hard time.
Fucking love the DDS Asura designs.
Spliting is for complete fags. Go either 3 dex or 3 mag, then 1 Agi and 1 Luck.
Strength is useless, only affects normal attacks and dex gives way more of a boost to phys damage skills
this pretty much
all skill slots are something you want ASAP
but extra demon storage is something you don't need to max. it's interesting, but the automated fusing from compendium demons thing takes some pressure off of you to be paranoid about your demons on-hand
>Going through 4th Kalpa
>Find Shady Broker
>"A demon that wields an assortment of attack spells, plus a charming and capable companion!"
>Have 69K Macca
>tfw it's a fucking Mothman with all the Ma-Dynes, Ma-ons, Megidolaon, and Mana Refill
Order's patch freezes every time I try to fuse or when I get into a terminal, I'm using shitty ZSNES cause I have a toaster but what's an emulator that gives no problems with SMT? particularly the Raidou dude that made a wlakthrough in yt even shows the fusion sequence.
Well this is BS.
>Encounter Chimera x 2 + Decarabia x 1
>Doing all right
>Take out Decarabia first
>DemiFiend health at 200ish
>1 Chimera Kamikazes, Endure kicks in
>Other Chimera lands a crit Iron Claw, while I'm at 1 HP
I fucking hate Chimeras. Never fucking dying easily, plus high damage output, plus show up in twos AT LEAST.
You playing on Hard mode? If so you should get used to it. My usual setup once I'm 50+ is to have the fastest demon I have use Taunt while everything else spams group spells/physicals, it usually works, MP isn't a problem because everything has Mana Refill.
Oh well, done for tonight anyways.
I keep walking around, and none of my Mana Refill demons ever regain any mana, whether they're in my party OR stock. Dunno if it's the same with Life Refill.
I gotta learn to use Taunt more often, works wonders on the Burial Chamber bosses from what I heard, along with Hades Blast.
I already used Gaea Rage last playthrough, want to use Hades Blast now. Deathbound is overrated and overused anyways. Still gonna use Deadly Fury because of crits and badass animation.
I feel like going straight into Nocturne from SMT1 and 2 was a bad idea. I'm having a hard time getting into it. Partly I think because battles feel like they take so much longer, and the whole skill carry over thing during fusion makes me spend a bit more time deciding what to fuse and the best way to get good skills carried over.
I should've taken a break and done Persona or something.
Will try that
because I'm going for TDE and 100% compendium, which will take FOREVER.
You can always give Nocturne a break and go to Persona to relax and get used to the fusion mechanics, then come back to Nocturne.
That's only early game when all your demons are complete shit, around level 13 staple spells like War Cry(Shiisa) and Fog Breath(Inugami) start appearing, hunting down all the buffs is a pain in the ass but it's worth it. Also, a good chunk of the early game demons can evolve so you can just stick with your Inugami/Nozuchi/Nekomata/Momomunfu for a while longer, level 25 is when the good stuff starts with guys like Oni. Level 50 Nocturne is pretty fast and level 80 Nocturne is Hades Blast x3 spam every fight since all your demons are going to have Victory Cry.
Note that you can just give a Abbadon the same skillset+Hades Blast and upgrade him into Surt to fix Surt's weakness to Ice since Abbadon gets Ice Drain. Same with Mot since Surt gets Elec Drain.
Keep an eye out here, a lot has happened today.
Basically what happened today is as big as Geohot's PS3 jailbreaking.
3DS scene will explode in coming days.
If you're on 7.x or 8.x you are not fucked at all, since 7.x keys leaked today as well, meaning native exploits for up to 8.x
If you're on 9.x, you're gonna have to wait for a newer solution though.
Either way won't be long now until everyone can enjoy solid 3DS piracy, today's progress is a massive milestone.
Yeah I'm on a 9.x at the moment. Now that I know there's been that kind of progress I'll just make sure not to update anymore. I wish I had paid more attention to what was going on in the scene, I probably wouldn't have updated past 7.x or 8.x if I did. Thanks though.
Now back to more Nocturne
or Souless Army which is tempting me to check it outand I'll stop derailing the thread.
Debilitate x4 is all you need if you can get them off quickly enough.
There's always Taunt + Reflect passives/tetra/makarakarn for the novelty of making a demon reflect itself to death
I love you /smtg/
Please accept my shameful replica.
I'm trying to learn.
I'm legitimately not sure whether all the autists here who started saying they like musubi in the last month are trolling, and trying to parody beadman, or legitimately are that autistic.
I don't even really want to play it anymore. I just want to know the plot.
No, everyone is autistic if they think living by themself forever would be anything but shit, and justify why making automotons that vaguely act sentient is a valid replacement for interaction with anyone else. This is literally a step more autistic than the people who can't interact with real people and so just want a $20,000 "realistic" sex-doll instead. Eventually you just realize you're still masturbating, but in a more expensive way.
No thats when you create your own human/whatever.
Isamu wanted to be alone but his reason is about being the God of your own world and do whatever you want. ie being a YHVH lite.
Thats Isamu though, his reason allows you to do whatever you want in your world as a God.
Then why not wish for a world like that of strange journey, where your depression is overwritten by happiness, and you can live in happiness forever? In musubi you'd just be even more depressed.
I hate to break it to you, but in musubi the core staple is solitude. "being a god" is a rethorical statement about how no one would be impeding you since no one is there, not what the actual reason is about. You can't create actually sentient entities. The game was pretty clear that you'd never interact with any other living thing again.
Where do you go after having breakfast with Walter and Jonathan by the lake? I guess I'm supposed to be finding this Black Samurai guy, but it seems like I've looked all over and not been able to find him.
Have you even played nocturne? The entire staple of musubi is perpetual solitude. Reenforced by any cut-scene it is mentioned in. Are you telling me you don't know what solitude means? Because its a really bad stretch to say that what it says is apparently totally unrelated to what it secretly means. When you talk to isamu he talks about hating people and living by himself. Not becoming a god and watching over other people. You straight up made that part up.
This is literally my second day drawing. I guess it's more like doodling, though, huh?
But this is fun. I guess I'll keep doodling some more.
I won't ask you guys for requests because I can't do anything yet and I doubt you'd want anything like this. The first Shuvuu was a copypaste from another picture and it's generic as fuck.
But I'm glad you like it, even if it's nothing.
Sorry for blogging.
No did YOU played Nocturne? Isamu created his reason as for people to create the world THEY desired. Isamu wanted his world just for him but that doesnt mean he is forcing any mindset to everyone else.
The motiff is them being you the center of your world but thats is different for many people. People can creat/shape the world as THEY desire.
As you can see in the ending of Musubi.
Are you trolling? I honestly can't tell whether you're this stupid. Create world doesn't automatically mean create people. When you meet kagutsuchi he says you want a world of solitude. Not to become a god of your own world. You are clearly agreeing with isamu's desire for everyone to be by themself. A thing that wouldn't exist if you know, everyone loved on worlds together the same way as regular, except that the gods of their world were all just humans from one random world.
Solitude is said tons of times. Saying you can create people was said 0. Yes, you get to shape your world, because the benefit of being by yourself is that you get to do what you want. Which wouldn't be the case if the majority of people were just people who were given bodies by the few who arbitrarily happen to be born as the gods.
Is Strange Journey connected to any other games at all? Trying to decide what to play next, and I'm leaning towards SJ because I want something portable, but I've yet to play Nocturne and have seen a few people say it's connected to it somehow.
The world will be whatever YOU wish for it, Isamu gives you total freedom. He wont impose anything on you because the world is yours to shape as the God.
Played SMT 4 it was the jrpg that I always wanted, but was to easy, because on Normal difficulty .
Playing Nocturne on Hard. Feeling related to the Demon. It´s so hardcore but I loving it.
Fuck that shit. Keep drawing, they're nice. Not extremely good, mind you, but charming and well-drawn regardless.
It seems the part of being a God is lost on you. As you can see in the ending Hitoshura can make things like the sun comes whenever he wants and in the end you can see him creating a city. WHY THE FUCK DO YOU THINK HE WOULD DO THAT?
The world of solitude was just a desire of Isamu, the world is your to shape, the ending clearly explained.
You are a God, you impose what will or not be in your world.
Law in one hand.
Chaos in the other.
smirkon his face just makes it sweeter. Never noticed he had a smirkon in that picture. Now that I'm seeing it really up close, it makes sense.
Thanks for posting this Anon.
Glad you enjoy Hard Mode
That's the same graphic used in every ending. He's used to living in a city. Presumably he would start with recreating his old home, and then decide what he wants to change after.
I'm still waiting for a single shred of evidence that even remotely implies other real people would exist there. So far you've provided zero. Rethoric about being a god since there's no one to interfere with you is a point against you, no matter how much you want to spin it otherwise. The fact that every single musubi character talked about how great it would be that no one could interfere with anyone again makes it obvious that real people can't be created. Unless every single character is so retarded that they didn't even try thinking about it.
Actually, technically in nocturne both of those demons are on the same side for some reason. The oni is from the mantra who are the ones who end up becoming yosuga when the angels take over their abandoned base and turn it blue. The few remaining oni climb the tower and swear loyalty to chiaki.
>Recruiting some demon in SMT IV
>Claims he shouldn't talk to humans and asks who I am
>Tell him I am the protagonist
>demon instantly joins the group
You are projecting your own disgusting perversions onto a pure entity. You are Filth.
Not factual isnt it? You havent really suplied anything of your argument of no humans allowed because solitude its not only a measure of wether there are people or not, you can be with many people and still be alone or left out (Like Isamu was).
As i said and posted in those whatever you wish for your world it will just happen. Demons opinion doesnt matter because they just share Isamu POV.
For me is the Shin Megami Tensei Franchise the Neon Genesis Evangelion of the mecha gerne. It was just something completly new.
SMT is just so much more than other jrpgs, it´s just fantastic.
The power of the fourth wall, Anon, can overcome the barrier between human and demon.
Also, my PW Dionysus saved my ass against Ouroboros 2nd Form. He was necessary, ok? Plus, I like using him in every MegaTen I play.
I can't decide if I should start with Nocturne or P3 FES. I got both recently and have been meaning to play the SMT games for years. All the talk about Nocturne's difficulty is pretty intimidating and makes me think I should save it for later. What do you guys recommend?
-don't neglect skill cracking (optimally everyone on your team would crack a different skill each battle but sometimes for bosses and the like you want to crack one of their skills super bad so you can designate all 3 to crack if you want to and that's somewhat acceptable
-pick a stat path and go with it. hybrid stuff isn't great
-fight a couple of free battles if you can. the game kind of expects you to do so
-pay attention to the time. later on you'll need to make life or death decisions and you can't save everyone
