Sure, I understand the point you're trying to make. The two games are entirelly different. But that's because abilities and CC in DOTA are so much more important due to their length/cost/range and what not. It's a slower and more precise game because of how much a single ability has in terms of impact.

League is much faster, more flighty. Abilities do n't shape the battle in a single use. Meaning one Solar Flare from Leona won't win or lose a teamfight unlike a well placed Black Hole from Enigma.

I do truly understand your point.

But I feel that without flash, more skill and champion awareness would be necessary to play effectively. At least in much higher levels compared to silver and bronze.

Anti-mage needs farm. You can literally deny him farm. you can keep killing him you can fullout prevent him from snowballing. If Yasuo or Nasus were in Dota they would be screwed because they would never be able to ramp up.

Sandking isn't the only one who can do this in dota. He's consider a support he doesn't need a lot of items to make him effective. Neither do a number of champions. In dota, the matches and bans are frankly a lot more varied because they varity allows for a lot of team compositions.

There are ways to deal with Enigma because once his black hole is done it takes about three minutes to get it back again. If Enigma fucked up a blackhole his team can suffer for it. The game has different approaches to different situations which allows things like global skills to be more balanced.
