PS2 classics from PSN should run fine. Other games vary when it comes to compatibility on slim. The Cobra PS2 emu on cfw PS3 works well for SSX Tricky but crashes on Tales of Legendia. You just have to experiment and see what games work and which don't.

What website is in your cart/firmware? If it's r4isdhc.com, then it has a software timebomb in the firmware, which won't work after 2-3 years, I've seen this confirmed everywhere and even by people setting their system clock to the future and getting the firmware to display "firmware expired".
Or are you using YSmenu? You CAN use that to bypass the timebomb forever, but it's a very old version of YSmenu that was cracked so it won't run DSi enhanced games like gen 5 Pokemon.

Either way this is all irrelevant for ntrboothax, because it loads on its own and doesn't need the official kernel to do it.

Since you bought a used PS3, I have no idea what the previous guy did to it. So the safest way to upgrade to rebug 4.81 would be to downgrade to 3.55 OFW, install any 3.55 CFW (like rebug 3.55) toggle QA flagging using rebug toolbox, then install rebug 4.81.

when you downgrade/install cfw, make sure no bluray discs are inside the console or else you will mess it up.

Yeah, Google should be all the help you need for deleting or unlinking a NNID. Never done it myself. You'll require a NNID to access the eShop and PokeBank, so you'll need a new one.
Also, that problem only exists if you have legit DLC mixed in with pirated DLC. If you go 100% piracy for a game it won't delete it.

A thing I want add, Crown3ds allegedly was just a bad-executed scam.
They had put a percentage bar that it mean the hacking progression, in a few months that bar risen up to 50%, then it lasted quite to risen up to 75%.
