Whoever created the idea of "37/9 card decks", "life points don't matter", and "progressing the gamestate" killed Yu-Gi-Oh. Since Yugioh has a fuckton of cards its difficult to explain everything but I can give a few examples.

Infernoids play by banishing other infernoids from hand or grave but you can only controll a few of them if only 1, unless you have the trap card.
So you wanna mill them in the grave with grass or reasoning and then special summon them to overwhelm your opponent, and they all have quickeffect to tribute monsters to negate / banish your stuff. Mostly has maindeck monsters, but also a strong fusion monster you can get out soetimes.

Lightsworns also play from the grave as in they want to mill as many cards as possible to gain an advantage over you, also they can easily do XYZ / Synchros with thier monsters. You summon either level 4 xyzs or level 7/8 synchros

Burning abyss is awesome as all the cards do something if they land into the grave, so you wanna do that a lot and of course the right ones. Is basicly a rank 3 deck

Winda is very strong too for the flood gate. But since shaddolls are already dark I don't think they need a dark engine with them. Her stats are also kind of weak and sometimes she can also floodgate yourself. I've never really struggled to keep at least one shaddoll in hand for shekh.
