Well, anything less and a previous cycle that had a unified military force, as the protheans did, would have ended the conflict. Remember that it's supposed to be one new reaper per cycle. Shit's been going a long time.

I do feel that the focus should have been less on fighting to win. Have the conflict mostly as it was, but the exposition making clear that the war is hopeless. Meanwhile, instead of building some magic device and bringing it to war, you instead search for the true nature of the enemy and find the means of disabling them wholesale. Leviathan should have been halfway through the main plot, and a significant part of it, with the revelation leading you to the remains of the AI that spawned the reapers in the first place.

It's baffling how much incompetence and disorganization lets through something so simple and obvious as the weapons used in cutscenes. There are instances of Shepard and squad firing their equipped weapon in cutscenes, clearly demonstrating it as possible, yet you see plenty of instance of generic pistol and generic assault rifle (sometimes held like a pistol, often by people who can not or do not use them).

I like Miri. On the one hand, for the obvious appeal of Yvonne Strahovski, even if Bioware did a bad modeling job off her, on the other hand, I really think that , in order for Miri to work, she needs Jack and vice versa. Sorry. I just don't like stories where people who do terrible things that would get normal people life in prison are just given passes by the narrative and are meant to be seen as sympathetic anyway, simply because they're main characters. And with her final words, the final Quarian disappeared without a trace from the the man's appartment.

The man sighed, his body still splayed out in the position the Quarians had left him in. His mind mulled over the dark path that KLposting had taken him down.

He had learned his lesson. For now.
