In addition to chain strat being good, and despite scholar getting outdamaged by whm on paper, scholar's toolkit narrows that gap quite substantially in a real fight. So much of their healing power is ogcd, whereas even a good whm in a skilled group is going to have to throw a fair number of gcd heals while we're all at this gear level. If you look at the top of the leaderboards for scholar they are absolutely ripping it up and pretty close to on par with peer whms. That said I am progressing through o4 right now and fuck doing that as scholar, I mean you can obviously but whm seems much easier.
