REPOSTING my rant because im triggered:

I got 4 5 stars in the process before pulling her: 2 Summer Tikis and 2 Catrias (and those catrias were within 10 rolls of each other, how fucking unlikely is that off focus?!)
All things considered I am fucking disappointed, I've gotten near every single free orb that's been offered the past month and all went towards that banner, I wonder how many orbs that'd be?

I've spent around $300 on this game thus far, none of that was towards this banner, but this banner has helped me make the decision:
I have decided I wont spend another fucking penny until they offer a way to fix the IV problem (and we know they fucking wont).
Luckily I've been enjoying fate grand order, so all my money will flow into that game.
And if any of you tell me that IVs dont matter I'll tell you to go fuck yourself. My -Att Spring Lucina is actual trash, my Genny does more damage than her.

Base Spring Lucina is a pretty awful unit that basically needs a bladetome to function. -Atk IV for Spring Robin is really ok (43 with her default weapon). Bad IVs can be feelsbad but ultimately, people put way too much weight into them and most units can be patched up with proper SI.

P.S. go look at FGO pricing and drop rates and let us know how spending money on that goes for you lol.

And for a good half the units in the game, -Spd or -Atk doesn't really affect them, considering literally every Bladetome user (Including buncina) is generally fine with it and a bunch of great units (Hector, Julia, Rein, Ike, Effie, many Brave users, Eldigan) don't really care about -spd.

If you're falling for the esports meme and need every unit to be optimal, prepare to get fucked in FGO because you're going to spend way more than 300 bucks to get the Merlin/JeanneAlter/Waver meta team that's required if you want to be optimal.

Only unit I've ever had trouble leveling is Odin, even just getting him up to 20 was a chore. I guess I also usually stop at 20 for the 1-2 star units since they get destroyed by most things in the higher strata.

She just naturally has high attack and speed stats.

With a speed boon she reaches 46/36 atk/speed. With life and death 3 she gets 51/41. Ragnarok adds 5 to both at 100% health so she tops at 56/46, highest amount a mage can have so far without external support buffs. If you have a healer or a falchion medic, you can restore her to full health and have another nuke ready. Her attack animation is literally a nuke.

Of course LaD cripples her already shoddy defenses further so she's one hell of a glass cannon, Distant defense is a great skill, too.

Atk boon is the only one that matters on him, he gets doubled by everything so making use of his defenses is a pain, though they aren't particularly terrible when taking cavbuffs into account, so he might be able to shrug off a sword if necessary.

If he's not +Atk Deathblow is practically a must, you can get away with placeholders like Atk+3 while waiting to roll DB fodder if +Atk though. Fury is kind of a waste unless you're keeping Vantage or running Escape Route to nuke from anywhere, though chances are most things are dead by the time either of those are ready.

I'm in the process of making custom skills that I'd like to see incorporated into FEH in the future. Here's the design I like the most so far, let me know what you guys think.

I think they could definitely stand to explore assist skills outside of positional abilities and rallies. Harsh Command comes to mind but is a bit too difficult to utilize properly. Activating Commanding Presence would basically make Hones, Threatens, and Ploys more flexible and powerful. Obviously buffs don't need improvement, but I think they need to add more checks to buff teams to the game anyway (or make panic ploy more accessible).

While I do prefer to play perfect run only, even if I bench unit afterwards, I can understand the frustaration here. IS been having alot of problem with large team splits in their design department and it does worry me how much the series been moving towards favouring only perfect runs, especially true with Fates Conquest.

When you nerf something you're supposed to understand the root cause of the imbalance and nerf that, not make a nearly ineffectual change. Reinhardt would still get effective +12 damage from Death Blow and +12 damage from Hone Cav. -4 dmg is a pittance.

Also, you didn't mention anything about blade tomes, so all you've done is make the choice between Dire Thunder and Blarblade easier for Olwen. Good job?
