I hope not. We still have two possible Blights left and only the Grey Wardens can help us fight it. The alive Hero of Ferelden is so insignificant at this point, I am pretty sure Bioware will force them to die during the main plot in Dragon Age 4. They were actually planning to do that in Inquisition.

The Warden died the moment DA protagonists were Shepardized, because it's a character whose existence and circumstances were left up to the player more than what works for this system. There's too many variables to work with, hence why Hawke and to a lesser extent Inky were more streamlined.

It's not some stupid "oh they just don't wanna 'cause they're dumb and don't want you to see your character" contrived bullshit like you people like to imagine it is. It's too much of a hassle from both a technical and writing standpoint to give this character any more than a background presence where you can't see them and have them write a generic letter or two. You can't just have them show up and give them a secondary role, that doesn't work. Your Warden could've been an asshole, a smartass, a goody-two-shoes, an uncaring shit, an idiot, an angry motherfucker, a fucking saint, pro-mage, anti-mage, racist, animal lover, a sociopath, a slut, a pragmatist, an idealist, knightly, shady, mystical, snarky, a lunatic, the list goes on and on and on.
There's no compromise that can be made to make such a player-dependent character an NPC.

They tried that with Hawke and it was a disaster. Not because it was actually done THAT bad, but many of the stuff Hawke could say was OOC and people just couldn't see their own Hawke in them. In games like DA, it's always a bad idea to bring back old playable characters as NPC, because they will never sound like the beloved character you made.

Shit is even more complicated with the Warden and the Inquisitor. They can be roleplayed in many different ways and they just can't work as NPC.

Dude, no. Just look at the marketing videos for Inquisition, those alone are miles better than Andromeda's.

DA:I was Bioware's first attempt at using the Frostbite Engine for an RPG game and I think it worked decently well, all things considered. The guys at Montreal didn't learn shit, had the Edmonton team make part of the assets for them and they did a disaster with the animations. The characters are boring and flat and all the cool ideas they had for the different planets, weather conditions and fauna were threw out and replaced with bland shit.

The only thing Andromeda did a little better were the missions that spawned across different planets and characters, but that's it. The aesthetics and art of Inquisition are great, while Andromeda's really feel stale.

The team planned a trip in the Deep Roads where you could meet the Architect and his intelligent darkspawn, but they had to cut it because "it wasn't that good" and the game was already full of stuff.

We went to a whole new galaxy just to get another "youmanatee's speshul" story. This game shouldn't have been made.

Good survivability with barrier regeneration. It does less damage than Necromancy build and has less crowd-control than Rift Mage. You can also no longer spam Spirit Blade after the recent nerf, but I would say it is still fun to use. The triple Fire Mine spell is melee ranged and it fits perfectly in a Knight Enchanter build.

It's fun as fuck but the people who think it's merely about spamming spirit blade will say it's not.

The best fucking thing about Knight Enchanter is (After the barrier regeneration passive of course) this one fucking passive in the fire tree that reduces your cooldowns by 1 second whenever you use any ability.

You can basically charge into a fight with fade step, instantly followed by fade blast and a swing of a spirit blade, burn someone's face with immolate and BAM. Fade cloak is off cooldown again. I wish I could show my gameplay to you, It's like fucking sanic.

It is absolutely worth it both story wise and content wise. Some of the new belts from the dlc can double your Mage's elemental damage. The new Sigils are very useful too, like the one which gives -50% mana regeneration for +100% mana pool, +200% flanking damage for -50% attack, +100% guard and -100% barrier, etc. You can acquire these new items from completing particular War Table missions, random loot in the game-world and in the Trespasser dlc area.

The Trials add new challenge to the game: enemy-level scaling to your player's level and much more.

Trespasser made Inquisition my favorite game in the series. Dragon Age is one of my favorite video game series of all time. The story, characters, world, rich lore, and music are top-notch and I simply can't get enough of the series.
Inquisition, before Trespasser, was a good game. The world felt huge, the Inquisitor felt like "my character in the world of Thedas" where Hawke and the Warden felt like their own entities. The companions are my personal favorites, and it felt like you were actually making friends with them instead of simply gaining approval. The main story was really good, but the side quests (excluding companion quests) felt really tedious. When I beat the game and watched the scene after the credits, I was really interested in Solas and what would happen next.
Then Trespasser got released. Seeing your companions after 2 years, and seeing how they are doing now was amazing. Even though I felt that there should've been more scenes where everyone was enjoying the reunion, it was still very nice. The story with the Qunari invading through Eluvians was really interesting, and knowing that Solas would show up again made the thrill even more exciting. Talking with Solas at the end, and him revealing his plan to end this world to bring back his old one was so well crafted, it left me in awe.

I love my Warden, but my Inquisitor's story is just becoming more and more ridiculous(ly awesome?) This is how I feel, I think Origins has aged terribly in some aspects but I think even for a 2009 game some parts of it were just bad. OTOH Inquisition has some glaring flaws that can't be ignored. The two are basically on a scale and nearly weigh about the same to me.

DA2 is the real weak link in the series.

I know if you play as a Qunari, you gain Sera's approval faster and in the Wicked Eyes and Wicked Hearts mission: an Elf/Dwarf Inquisitor starts with -10 approval. Your race has no major impact on the plot or the gameplay, you get a bunch of unique dialogue options and people treat you differently, like some npc calling you a knife-ear!

I remember it took me 6 tries to beat the Pride demon boss with my Rogue on Hard difficulty. Lower the difficulty for this boss fight if you are getting frustrated? Spam Solas' barrier, you can revive companions by holding the F button on them. You can revive Leliana too in that quest.

The intro pride demon and the attack on Haven are the two hardest parts of Nightmare difficulty. If you can get past them the rest of the game is a cakewalk.
