It was created by Carles Magraner (Spain, Valencia) and they do traditional music being as accurate as possible.

I will name and explain some history of this songs (you can listen them in the Perisno mod). First of all, almost all of them are a musical genre called Ensalada. this style was very popular in the iberian peninsula during the Renaissance, very cheerful and fun for the courtiers/nobility parties. It was a mix of styles like madrigal, popular songs, villancico, romance and others from that era.

You can't steal weapons.

However, you CAN block weapon hits with your bare hands like some unarmed shaolin monk.

Basically you 'chamber' with your fists in the same way you chamber with swords. Very fun to do in multiplayer, pisses people off. Unfortunately, fists are much slower than melee weapons so you gotta have extremely good timing if you want to block more than one swing.

i'd say VC but it isn't that varied, though it's a limitation of the period and it generally does a good job despite that, with enough distinction between the spearman class and infantry class for there to be an actual reason to separate them into different divisions
not so much skirms and horse archers since skirms in VC are functionally either archers or infantry and HA isn't a thing in VC, it's almost all jinetes

They won't besiege shit. It gets that big when they get lucky enough to run into a lord who's just gotten out of a close battle and has only a few nonwounded troops and many prisoners. All the lord's prisoners get added to their party. It's interesting that they have both Swadian and Khergit prisoners, suggests that either they've taken down two lords (plausible if they got strong enough after beating the first one) or took down a multicultural lord's army.

also the setting is really good for the warband formula, in 1257 for example you sometimes get weird shit like poland trying to annex norway and hafsid dynasty declaring war on ireland, and it never makes sense for any one faction to conquer the whole map. in geko every faction has a valid historical reason for war and map painting.
