When facing a warrior while playing a warrior, what's the best way to counter it ?
Do you try to outpower it bu stacking damages items or do you build a few defensive items ?
I've faced this situation several times and I'm still not sure if it's best to answer with defence or power to face a specific enemy on a same class.

If you can interrupt them while channeling, build cdr and pen, and win small trades, save your ult to kill or escape.

If they clear faster than you build defense and just make the lane unwinnable and outsustain them. This last part is important to making this strategy useful to your fucking team at all: rotate early and often to mid lane when the other solo laner backs. Chaacs who just sit in lane all day are a waste of a player.

If they are building AA then you either build mana sustain and antiheal so you can slowly poke them out of obscurity, or if you are also an AA god look at their build and counter with the right items. Are they ahead? Don't fucking build ichaival. Build mystical mail instead and build your aa character tanky at first and then add some attack speed and pen later.

scylla has an aoe cripple root which is uneffected by Diminishing returns and lasts longer then nu was stun though and crush is a aoe snare and protection shred as well so i dont feel like utility is really a decisive win for her either

scylla can theoretically throw her 3 over a wall for vision too even though thats basically never a good idea

Kuzenbo doesn't avoid teamfights, his ult is literally made for disrupting an AOE of enemies in a teamfight. He then picks one target, like an ADC, and 3's them to isolate them from the fight. This leaves a favourable 4v4 to the rest of the fight. The 2 helps in providing semi-immunity while in the backline, and also doubles as a hard counter to certain ults.

I'm not saying Kuzenbo isnt the worst guardian right now, but the ult is great in teamfights if your team isnt braindead.

Ganesha's ability to peel and deny combo is utterly retarded and way too rewarding while being safe. I went with this build on thor because as soon as I saw this guardian paired with these turbo autist damage dealers I knew I was better off with a walking bunker itemization. Turns out I didt a way better job at landing cc setting up kills and outmitigated khepri. Still the amount of efforts I had to put into being impactful in the match were infinitely more considerable than ganesha and yet the rewards for smart plays were nothing compared to the amount he and his get from a simple button. I have to tak loki's stealth and ult into account, thoth dash and stun anubi's wrap and odin's cage to spot the perfect situation to land and cc so the carries do their job AND YET ALL THIS DOESN4T MATTER AT ALL BECAUSE GANESHA PIECE OF SHIT SIMPLY HAS TO SILENCE AND KNOUP YOU AND TO CANCEL ALL YOUR EFFORTS AND PEEL FOR TEN HOURS WITHOUT ANY HOPE OF GETTING ANYWHERE; THIS IS BULLSHIT TAKEN TO A WHOLE NEW LEVEL
