I was using english for most of ARR. The dub got progressively worse over time while JP's became actual decent anime tier.
I think of all the characters in English I only actually liked ARR Ilberd and Aymeric. Everyone else sounded very phoned in or otherwise ill fitting.

I rewatched a lot of cutscenes in english after running through it in JP and they're honestly just so bad. The woman who poisons you in the tavern in particular stuck out to me, for some reason she's this very deep voiced scottish woman even though the character is this tiny anime midlander.

People would abused selling grades 1 to 5 for glamour prisms for 20k or above and buy out anything lower

Fey Union will stay shit and no one will use it because tether range was just one problem of a large list, including being an ability, shit potency, long start up time, unaffected by rouse.
Dissipation will remain unchanged.
Bane will remain unchanged.
Shadow Flare will remain unchanged.
Miasma II will still be shit, I wouldn't be surprised if they tacked on bane's multi target scaling or Holy/Gravity at best.
The aetherflow cooldown change will probably be okay.
Excog changes will probably be okay.

To add to this, (female) miqo'te and au ra have the least variance between each individual character. Every cat and raen is going to look like a teenage or early 20s tomboy-ish pretty girl. Xaela have a little more variance, but that is in exchange for black scales being harder to work into glamour.

Warrior will ALWAYS have a cooldown at hand, and his tank stance is trash for actual tanking, and DRK has strong mitigation that can shrug off tankbusters like nothing at 70.

If you want to be self sufficient BSM/WVR/LWR will let you craft 90% of the gear you need. If you just want money CUL/ALC will be the way to go since savage raids are about to hit and potions and food will be a constant source of gil.
Personally I did BSM>LWR>WVR>GSM>CUL>ALC and CRP and ARM I'm finishing off with GC because they don't craft anything I need and I'm sitting on 80 mil as it is. Make sure you do all your GC for the day or at least buy a cheap 30k NQ item or something off the MB. They are worth an allowance a day and star'd items are worth 2-3 allowances for a single HQ item.
