A big upside to Paladins is that the characters are more mobile and are more viable even when they're off-meta.

Can someone please tell me what am I doing wrong against Zhin as Andro? Almost every encounter ends with me dead but the consensus seems to be Zhin is at best low tier. No, im not shooting at his counter. But it really annoys me how billow can basically refund 70% of his health, at this point you have to retreat. But he can follow you if he notices that and still have another movement ability. Zhin and Lex are the bane of my life as a flank.

Because who actually cares about those slots on the screen that is covered up by the useful information anyway? If you actually reach those accolades you get the gold bonus which matters. Its why even games you have a leaver or something stupid and its a 4-0 quick stomp its still worth to at least play, you can gain 200 gold very easily.

See this game for example, I got curb stomped vs guys I know are good at the game with the actual newbs on my teeam with deft hand complaining non stop on test map. Lost horribly but still got gold to make it worth the time played.

Don't know how, but I'm actually having a lot of fun with succ papi. I'm 2.6k elo so I figured I was well past the point of him ever being effective again, but since his shield got nerfed in ob53 it seems as if people straight up don't buy wrecker anymore. And even if they do, I've got 5600hp that isn't getting cauterized. Shit's glorious. The buffs to his range are welcomed too, and even when I soloq there's almost always someone worth spamming field study on.

Maybe it's just because I haven't played him in ages, but this savage win streak is nice.

Skill gap was probably larger individually and the game was honestly fucking stupid in a lot of ways. The maps were REALLY fucking big and what set the good players from the bad at that point was mostly just knowing when to mount up (you could mount at any time out of spawn). So you'd chase a guy, he go behind a corner, horse up and run away like a bitch. A lot of people are nostalgic over it but frankly it was garbage and never would have caught the player base it has now.

Game is better now as much as past players will cry about it, now its actually accessible instead of being boring shit where you spend most of your time running around like a dipshit. I really, really miss old Grover though but on this patch with Ferocity I don't really mind as much. woopwoop
