The only reason we're even getting streams is because of the whole esports fad started by video games. Considering they're only getting like 500 viewers even during the finals, the streams are probably operated at a loss if they compensate the casters even a little bit.
Events are supposed to be you showing up, paying your entry fee, dueling, then going home. Anything else is Konami just saying "well, we tried" so they don't look bad and can pretend they actually care.

For SPYRAL they made Misty and Resort Staff non-archetypal, made Sleeper blow your field up if he gets destroyed, and made Fully Armed miss timing in a lot of situations. For Subterror, they gave them literally nothing useful in Raging Tempest, which they acknowledged by making it all low rarity. And then they made both of the behemoths in Maximum Crisis do nothing to solve the deck's problems.

- It was listed as 42 cards

- But it seems Konami at the last minute wanted to add additional cards to give the pack some more meat since 42 is way too low.

- It's unknown if the additional cards to bump the pack to over 50 cards are reprints or not, but there's a strong possibility new cards are included

- The reason for doing so is because the Duelist Pack: Legend Duelist and Collector's Pack 2017 packs are fairly unpopular with stores and players in Japan due to the fact they seem to be designed both for chiefly pre "New Master Rule" formats.

- So they're thinking of adding cards here that work with the new rules and format, i.e. Link Monsters and the like.
