Here's my work from back in January. I ported the wolfrpgtrans version to work on v1.21, for the rest please use the readme. I got most of the menus, classes, skills, enemy names, weapons, armor, triggers, equipment screen, and some status messages for navigating the labyrinth.

I'm probably retarded, but it didn't seem like you were allowed to make the game's text box transparent, meaning it would hide parts of the scenes. Furthermore, what made the game overall worse than it had to be was the fact that many of the H scenes were given to you BEFORE you fought enemies, meaning you it felt like fapping to a gallery on exhentai rather than fapping to something that was rewarded to you. The game also had relatively few scenes, especially considering how short the scenes were. The artwork and scenes in themselves were pretty great though, but there could've been more variations (e.g. multiple different facial expressions) and there chould also have been sound effects to make the experience way beter. No idea what the story was, since my Japanese isn't great. Overall, it was a pretty underwhelming game.

you will need to install python3, preferebly 3.6 because thats what i tested it on (dl link: https://www.python.org/downloads/release/python-361/), then you can run the script either by double-clicking it or if that does not work choose open-with and then python3.
Once you run the script a console will pop up and after a while 2 http 404 errors will appear in it because 2 dlsite links are dead. Shortly after that your default browser should open the generated html.
Note that the script may un for a while depending on your internet connection because all the genre information has to be downloaded from dlsite.
Also putting the script in a clean folder is probably a good idea just in case you have any other files named index.html flying around.
Please let me know if it works because i dont have a native windows system and therefore could only test it in a vm

I started playing VH for the first time in ages using the latest translated upload, and some of the quests are in Japanese. Specifically anything involving going east of town, such as the escort quest and finding the bandits' hideout.

I 100% remember them being translated when I played ages ago. What gives? Is this normal? Did they remove that part of the translation for some reason?

If the game could have gotten one simple improvement to greatly spice it up, it'd be the outfit system. You can't use anything other than the basic outfit out in the field, and you are only given like two others that you can wear outside of certain scenes. So how do I defeat the Blue Dragon? Even with Scalebane and the Ring of Lightning Defenseand the Ring of Curse Reflection, I'm struggling with it. I can get it to 200~260 HP, but the RNG fucks me in the ass. I'm level 12, but I have no potions and only 1 LP. Is it possible to recover luck points? Please send help.

Also, I can't progress further in the game. I get a script error when trying to use the lever at the end of the Ruins to charge the teleporting device. Is there a fix for it or should I wait for an update?

Turns out you don't need to add any library exceptions anymore in the latest version of wine, so now it's easier than ever to setup for new users. Also added a screenshot of a translated wolf rpg config panel, some other stuff, and added anon's Arch linux instructions.
If you're there, archlinux anon, did you still have to install the gstreamer packages I mentioned?

Also, at this point the guide is finally complete enough to add to the OP, there's only one minor thing left to fix, but I'm working on it, so whoever makes the next thread please add it.

Updated my patch translator with basic wolftrans support and based this patch on partial linked previously. Skill descriptions are missing and a lot of text goes out of bounds but I still managed to unlock all events while testing this.
Made this because text hooking is a pain in linux but turns out this game freezes after first boss in wine. At least it works fine on windows.

Also for WolfRPG games I had an issue where the joysticks "js0" and "js1" in /dev/input/ were causing a "stuck" key issue, this happened in both Linux Mint and Arch Linux (could be because I'm in a virtual machine). I just had to delete those two and it would work, but after a reboot they would return so I had to create a startup script. Just tried it and yes the process stays running. I'm launching the game from the terminal so I can see its output and the output is just spamming the same error after closing the game (looks to be a deadlock?), I can't even stop it with Ctrl+C.

There are multiple points in Win10 that microsoft fucked something up which resulted in many problems with ITH/AGTH and even Translation Aggregator. I just gave up on Win10 altogether, but if you're fully updated you'd need to revert some updates and if you're not you might need to update them. Where you stop would depend on where microsoft fucked up recently.
