How do you "justify" playing as an evil character? Like, what motivation does he have, why is he doing what he's doing? I'm not necessarily talking about completely, 100% pure evil, but a character that generally has a negative karma and does some really shitty stuff once in a while.

The more I play of Survival mode, the worse it gets.
At this point, I think the annoyances outweigh the 'immershun' it offers, so I'm thinking of dropping it.

I just fought a dog, he bit me (did half my health because he was an alpha), and I got an infection that does periodic damage.
I don't have a method of curing this infection currently.
Every 30 secs my character yelps (loudly), and if I'm in dialogue my character skips their line.

It sounds small, but it's just the most recent example of why survival is just more annoying that it's worth, the small issues just keep building up until I just get flat out annoyed while playing.

It worked! I shouldn't have been surprised. The technicians said readings are normal across the board. Synth production was ready for full scale output if needed and could be customized almost without limit at my discretion. Even better, the work was done so the real fun could begin.

My first F3 mod was a simple weight change for fission batteries that became a personal weight change mod (I changed a few weights based on item size for the misc/junk items to be less ridiculous) and then I added an NPC vendor that would sell teddy bears and only teddy bears outside of Little Lamplight before I tried making the actual mod I wanted to make (It was a venture into Pennsylvania towards Hershey, but I never got anything done aside from the first town and a few NPCs) but lost all of it when my PC died and gave up. This will be the first time I've modded a Bethesda game since.

the general idea began as adding some plant monsters to the game. Shit like the Venus flytrap guys from previous titles. It then spiraled into a trip to the Southeast Commonwealth with the plant monsters being made of Kudzu and Pokeberry bushes with a bunch of Native American tribal remnants, civil war bullshit, Atlanta Georgia and its crazy ass interstates and (Now mutated) bugs and crocodiles. I still dunno what to do with a 'main questline' but I've got 5 sidequests based on minor factions so far wrote up including getting parts for a plane for the residents of Kitty Hawk and dealing with a pack of extremely savage raiders in Atlanta.

It's these:

- NVCE - New Vegas Character Expansions: face geometry. Keeps all characters faithful to the lore, even drawing inspiration from the official artwork from the playing cards.
- Robert's Bodies
- Mojave Delight - The Girl Next Door Textures (requires Type 3 or similar body, I use T6M)
- BEARDS
- Fallout Character Overhaul (I only use the hair meshes and textures)
- HQ Brows - Drumber
- Natural Eyes
- Eyelashes NV
- HD Teeth and Natural Eyelashes
- HD Teeth Fix (custom made, the mod above doesn't retexture teeth properly)

I suppose that with an ENB these would look even better, but I'm simply using Interior Lighting Overhaul and the Reshade for Realistic Wasteland Lighting Enhanced.

When I was first starting I kept it simple. I took a dead village in fo3 and added a few generic npcs that said hi and nothing else and 2 merchants.

After I got the very basics down I moved on to other small things.

I made a mod that took the vanilla pistol and gave it each ammo type. Nothing fancy nor upload worthy but it was fun running around with a plasma 10mm.

Now I spend most of my time making morrowind duneons I dont release but that's a different topic.

basically just start small and build up as you learn.

The furthest I got was a few human poke mutants showing up via boa in the southernmost corner of the Commonwealth and being reported on Minutemen Radio and you going down with a group of minutemen to investigate where they came from and what they were doing. The boat would stop in Kitty Hawk where you'd learn about the purple people and their bullshit.

The human pokes were basically worshipping the plants growing across the Carolina wastelands as deities, sacrificing each other and anyone they captured to the plants. Outfit Studio does recognize a Type6M shape when I load a t6m NIF into it, but I don't have any settings and it's really clunky to work with (although I probably didn't install BS/OS properly as I don't have any of the skyrim/fo4 bodies). Type6M is probably the best all-around female body though, best quality, has a lot of variants (even non-slutty alternates), covers most vanilla and DLC armor, and has body physics (as they are with the best current skeleton for FNV).

Bethesda and game production at it's finest. Game loads much faster on an SSD than on HDD proven fact.

Since my current setup has my game in the SSD and mods on HDD what's happening to me is that the game is loading so fast that my game would drop in framerate all the way down to the single digits because it's pretty much telling me to "hold up motherfucker let me catch up" otherwise I'd be playing in a good 50-60fps the game does catch up and loads the mod assets

I play the game solo on SDD and it's fine everything is fast a breezy but, My HDD is pretty aged and is also almost full, I defragged and it helped a bit. I'm figuring since it will all be in one drive it should not have problems.

There are some mods for this afaik. There are workbench mods, and mods which add a "scrapper" that you put items into and it auto scraps them (on the fly).
