No mod is 'essential', anon. Also, many mods have been partially ported over but have been severely gimped by the lack of SKSE.

For example SkyUI, SPERG, Realistic Needs, Frostfall, and Campfire all have many features disabled for SSE, most notably the hotkeys that allow you to use features those mods have without having to go through menus.

Immersive HUD is gone entirely, as are many of the 'requirements' mods for factions such as Thieves guild and Companions. Are these essential? No. Do they enhance gameplay? Arguably yes.

MFG Console's gone, as is the Community uncapper which a LOT of people use to tweak XP gain rates and perk acquisition. Take Notes is popular with the RP crowd but may or may not be your style. The realistic force and dead body collision plugins are gone, once again not essential but I personally see no reason to play without them.

I'm sure there's a lot more but it's late and I'm tired so if that isn't enough then I'll come up with more tomorrow.

If they were to remaster Morrowind they would definitely hire writers to make the dialogue more digestible by the average modern gamer (having to read walls of text everytime you talk to someone? no way) and voice actors to have full acting for all the NPCs cause that's the standard in a modern game.

Like I said, remastering Skyrim was cheap, quick and easy. Even if we don't take what you mentioned into consideration, updating Morrowind and Oblivion to modern standards, even f they are Bethesda standards, would be much more costly and I'm sure they'd deem it not worth the effort.

It's just terrible. Overall shitty level design coupled with retarded bossfights and extremely tedious combat segments. The only good thing in it is the voice acting, and it's only good next to the steaming pile of shit that is everything else in the mod. It's just boring and tedious as shit, some levels just keep dragging on forever and the mod's idea of difficulty is simply throwing 200 enemies your way every 20 seconds. The Circle of Greed is just absolutely awful in every aspect.

It's basically a sewer where once you go through a door in the main room you have a limited amount of time to race through the sewers and find the boss, who keeps saying creepy stuff to you through magic speakers or some shit. There are chickens, horses, naked ladies locked in rooms full of sweetrolls, creepy dudes that follow you around, red rieklings, weird music and sounds, it's just a weird place.

But next to the tedious platforming, puzzles and combat of other levels it's kind of not that bad.

I'm currently still to weak to go start this mod so I will be sticking around sedya neen for a bit to work on my char's stats a bit.

I did the tax collector murder arc so I have foryns shack now as a residence. It's not much and it's tiny but Purple Glow Butt now has a place to live and has become part of Morrowind's livelihood. Glow butt village adventures ahead. Will be finding a mod or 3 to compliment the village life shortly.

Well off to go punch mudcrabs and attempt to clear out that cave just outside the village.

I also still have my genmod3 dungeons which I might consider starting on over ultima underworld since I made sure the settings were tons of new content in those dungeons. Who knows maybe i'll get some kickass loot down there.

I also have the Undead dungeons just outside sedya neen .Alot of dungeon romping I can go thru to work on gaining power.

And there's a few big cities to travel to and start on things there.

Also a trip to the mages guild soon. I need some spells once I buy up all of the spells in the village shop.

Most of the sets require full pants and not just boots. Faraam armor for example requires full pants or else, boots will only display and the legs will be fully invisible.

That can be set with body sliders. I have more sliders on ECE and you can just put the weapon far back so it doesn't clip through things. It does with this armor because it's a Skyrim follower and I can't modify the weapon placement. Not that it bothers me though.

Decided to take a break from my main char and her purple glow butt and roll up a new char using those random dice rolls.


Ended up as with the trainer race by lady rae. Which as far as I can tell in her mall of insanity mod is there to train you so high ass stats at level 1 I suppose. Also the trainers are all white and the faces are in fact this blank. No idea what to expect of this but hey im a faceless race trainer. Adventures ahead

The class is random rolled and belongs to another race in my list but eh she gets it so there we go.

The sign was another random roll and man oh man I can not hate at all. mark and recall? I think I might have access to warping back in and out of privateer's hold once I beat it for monster farming goodness. Could be wrong tho and might break the game since it's the starting area for your new char. Will test later.

Also will be looking for mods that spice up the game's villages and adds a bit to mechanics.

And at some point I will be fleshing out the games graphics with better textures and whatnot. Went with get it going and running sound before making it pretty.

Most people here use TKRE not because they like how it looks out of the box (with a bajillion saturation high bloom and super ugly sun glare) but because it's a high powered profile tweaked for maximized ENG GUI power, which means you can change it any way you want and it can do a fuckload of stuff.

You're welcome to look on nexus for something that looks better put of the box but the only way you get what you want is by doing it yourself.
