Before I replay terraria for the umpteenth time, are there any mods worth looking at?
Terraria is a pretty tight experience and I wouldn't say it needs mods to be good, unlike other pixel-block games.
But I don't want to entirely dismiss the idea either.

So i'm 600 hours in but i never modded terraria and wanted to ask if you have mod recommendations for a mod newcomer.

Magic Storage, Recipe Browser, Boss Checklist, our /tg/mod, Vanilla Tweaks, WMITF, Summoner's Assocation, and Fargo's are what I run alonsgside them, but I ignore most of the Fargo content. Seriously, don't. It's not worth it unless you're a diehard player. I only ever play on easy mode. It's just too easy to die in this game, especially in expert mode. If you haven't played in a while, it's probably best to play in normal mode first, to acquaint yourself with the game. Or if you're particularly masochistic, you could try expert mode right off the bat. I don't recommend playing a hardcore character unless you're a very experienced player.

Normal Underground is going to be the best early on. Smash as many pots as possible so that you can get bombs and money so that the merchant and demolitionist can spawn.

Explore these in order:

>hell

That's the order I usually do them in, though you're free to change it up. I really don't suggest going into the underground jungle until you have at least silver/tungsten armor. That place is a bitch.

I'd also suggest not limiting yourself to one class, at least not at the beginning.

Its only temporary, wanted a close space to grow more shrooms for building and to act as a framework for the rest of the construction. It started as just a land bridge with a spot for fishing quests. Once I fill it in I'll make it look more natural and remove bits as needed

We're talking about 650 images in the base folder and then a dozen more in a few subfolders. Imgur was not made for this kind of thing.
