Use Maleficent and Jafar. Maleficent lets you deal ridiculous damage for something like 20 or 30 hits but makes your recharge time slow which is why you use it immediately at the start of battle. Jafar lets you ignore any card breaks on you and continue sleights or combos even if they have higher values or a 0.

Yeah in the world of KH if certain people (including Data) are connected then they can gain feelings or sometimes information without physically meeting them.

Depending on the region, the cause changes. In the West, the Queen throws a potion on the Mirror which transforms him, and in Japan, he's transformed by her own darkness, which we can surmise is fueled by an intense envy of Snow White.

I think sometimes it may have actually been Ansem before Riku fought Lexaeus. I don't think DiZ would've been able to open up Riku's darkness in the beginning of the game. Also things seem sort of serious for Riku when Mickey shows up out of nowhere.

I can't be too sure though since most of time it's really DiZ. Riku calmed down and figured out that DiZ was messing with him near the end of the game because he noticed that both DiZ and Ansem smelled different. If it was DiZ every single time he saw Ansem (before things became more intense), then he probably would've realized that it was DiZ sooner.

I also noticed that when it comes to the whole "smelling" thing in CoM that it's pretty much an ability that only Riku and Zexion can use/can use very well.

But what the hell is up with DiZ anyway?
He shows all these abilities in CoM, but once we see him in KH2 and he takes off his cloth, belt and blackface he shows none of the abilities he had in CoM.

Dark Splicer is actually useful in fights you care about, since it has good tracking.

Meteor for grinding random encounters, but always remove it for bosses since it deals dogshit damage and can be dodged by some bosses due to arena size and 0 tracking. Also, doesn't give you I-Frames, meaning the boss can just punish your standstill ass.

The Balloon line of spells are the best in the game since they pretty much ALWAYS hitstun, have good damage, and bosses aren't immune to them. Balloon and -ga are pretty good in their own rights, but you can beat literally anything in the game with 6 Balloonra + 2 Curaga, with very few (if any) exceptions.

Basically, run as many Balloons as you can at any given time.

To comment on the rest of it, it'll mostly depend on what difficulty you're playing on. Poison Dive ain't that useful in general, but it can be more useful on Critical/Lv 1 runs if you're the type to sit there forever while poison chips happen. The dashes are okay, but if you're at a point where you're deciding between Splicer and Meteor, you probably have access to better commands. Basically any Dark command is good on Riku, except maybe Dark Firaga. Zantetsuken is also nice if you're just looking to waveclear encounters, since it still does a fuckton of damage even if you don't roll the instant-kill.

Marluxia is kinda hard when he has a real deck, but nowhere near as hard as Larxene and the final Repliku fight. All you have to do is outlast his Double Sleight phase and you'll probably do fine.

Marluxia in the ship seems hard until you realize that if your deck is mostly 7+ value cards, you win. From there it's just knowing when to play your cards instead of just wildly flailing around.

Final Marluxia is fun but even easier than Ship Marluxia. You'll only really lose if your deck is terrible or you accidentally let him destroy your Reload Card.

The way I finally defeated Larxene and Axel was just spamming magic and reloading with then using Jafar card and spamming Ars Acanum but even doing that it took me so many tries to win.

It's just really tough for me. And my deck probably is terrible. I can't strategize for anything. I should've picked easy mode though I don't even know if that would've made much a difference to be honest.

Sonic Blade is amazingly powerful in ReCoM because they gave it actual homing properties instead of just going "alrighty just press A at this ABSURDLY PERFECT TIMING and mash the D-Pad in the general direction you want to fly". Try building that.

If you're having trouble building it, try using Moogle Rooms. When you open one, they give you a free Attack Card pack. From there just open a bunch of rooms to farm for EXP and MP.

What I did for basically every fight in ReCoM from Vexen II on was a deck that let me spam a sleight until I hit my healing card(s), then heal, then reload, then change to a different sleight. I had it set up so that there was almost no thought involved.

There's nothing special about Star Seeker vs KKD. Star Seeker is what he trained with under Yen Sid before obtaining the KKD. It's implied that Star Seeker is actually Yen Sid's Keyblade.

Alright so after spending a couple of hours getting stop and then getting moogle points so I could buy more I finally could set up my deck.

I made it to where I can use lethal frame 6 times in a row and then reload and use sonic blade.

Have cura and a megalixir as well as Jafar.

I managed to beat Marluxia in about 4 or 5 tries.

Lethal frame was great but for some reason Marluxia would just vanish out of reach at random. Even after breaking his card he would still do it. So I ended up missing 2 or 3 lethal frames because of this.

Hopefully I can make it through the rest of the game like this.

Lethal Frame is useless against the final boss sequence since he's aerial and the second form is immune to it (not that he can play cards against it anyway since no sleights and almost no 0s).

Sonic Blade is useless against the first form, but not the second. First form mostly just dies to properly-timed card breaks and spam attacking, though.

The first form is piss easy. Seriously, just break the shots he tries to fire and wait for him to be almost done with the charge before breaking that, then just wail on him. The deck you're building is mainly for dealing with the second form, since it can be an actual challenge depending on how quick you are on the uptake and how many high-value cards you have.

Riku's story is specifically designed to be pretty damn quick. Most floors only have one Key room (which is literally just the boss with 0 buildup or cutscene), the floors are much more compact (the last floor is literally four rooms in a straight line, with the last room being the final boss), and there's absolutely no deckbuilding to do since Riku's decks are all fixed and enemy cards you pick up are just added to your deck at no cost. You might have to grind a bit in some places but you should generally finish MUCH faster than you finished Sora's story.

It gives you a fixed deck per world, and this includes boss cards... although the boss cards you earn are always in it. Also, unlike Sora you don't get sleights unless you acquire enough dark points to enter D mode. The benefit of this is that instead of spending level ups on CP and Card points, you can increase DP and attack points. Bear in mind that the decks seem to actually be made to be weaker in light hearted areas, and stronger in darker ones. Halloween town is a peace of cake, but wonderland will DESTROY YOU.

Oh actually I lied, there is one other way to use sleights, through a mickey party member card. He's ALSO the only way you can heal in battle, so be careful with how you use him.

It's mostly just that he has a gimmick that you've no real warning about and no preparation for unless you've somehow played Riku's story before.

He randomly puts a Doom counter on you, locks you in place, then plays a bunch of cards at once that you have to break in sequence before the timer runs out. Most of the time you can just get out by spamming cards until it's all gone, but if your deck is mainly low-value cards you will usually die at this point.

He also has an attack that blows your entire deck away (including the reload card) and makes you pick it all back up off the ground. He has another attack that he drops to destroy cards (although he usually doesn't do it right after a Severing Gale), which INCLUDES YOUR RELOAD CARD.

If you can deal with that you should be fine. It's just quickly adapting to things you have no warning about.

Side note, although it's light on cut scenes because the stories in each individual floor is pretty much non-existent, it's a much more introspective look into things. You know how Sora completely brushed off how Namine fucked with his memory? Yeah, uh... This story isn't going to do that. It's going to be incredibly nhilistic, dealing with self loathing, Riku wishing he was dead multiple times, looming guilt, and two other black cloak members... although you don't get to fight one of them in the GBA version. It's no big loss, he's incredibly annoying because he can scatter your deck. There's an additional form to Marluxia in the ps2 version as well, but that's not TOO big of a loss.

Honestly Reverse/Rebirth has some surprisingly in depth character analysis and development for Riku, despite the story using the word "Darkness" so many times that if you made a drinking game out of it you'd die WELL before you were halfway through it.

ALSO ALSO! When you play it, every single time Riku seems like he's showing signs of psychological damage and how much he's been going through I want to remind you that he's only sixteen at this point... or fifteen, i'm unsure when his birthday was/is. Being Riku is suffering, essentially.

Well, I figured I'd have to get that out of the way anyway.
I will admit that I quite liked CoM, though mostly from a story standpoint. I dug that it was darker in tone, and it's nice to finally understand the transition between KH1 and KH2. I MIGHT dabble a little in Re:CoM, but I'm still unsure yet. I did understand the card system eventually, and ended up stacking Raids through most of it. Axel gets obliterated by Blizzard Raid.

I think what really soured me on the entire experience was being stuck at a door in Destiny Islands for several hours just looking for an 8 map card, but the final act makes up for it in a way.

I also found it interesting that the main thing you do in Twilight Town is fight a boss, and Vexen getting KO'd by Axel.

Reverse/Rebirth takes place shortly after Sora arrives, and ends a while after Sora's story ends. You even get little markers like Marluxia dying and a conversation with Namine about the plot of Sora's story to help keep you aware of how things are going.

The Key Arts use their own STR stat and Guilt %, and the copied medal's base multiplier and effect.
So in your example, the Key Art would use it's Guilt (0%) and Ursula's multiplier (x4.10?) and give an additional +3 speed def.
