Well, you shouldn't really be doing that.

It works for Inara because she has low damage falloff and perfect accuracy, which allows her to pressure the backline while standing on point.

For most frontlines your only option would be dukeing it out with the other tank, which is a poor use of your resources.

Your goal isn't simply to stand on the objective, it's to create a situation where standing there is both sustainable and getting you points - which means setting your team up to win the greater teamfight.

Follow your Damages down side wings to ensure early kills. Pressure the enemy healer so they can't do their job. Constantly bully the most dangerous Damages until they think you were born specifically to piss in their cheerios. Interrupt their momentum.

Once you've tipped the scales, THEN you can get on the point and bully their tank.

You're just bad with her. When played right, she's a goddamn hornet of pain and teleports. And when you think you finally have her, she ice blocks, heals back to full, and blinks away without barely a scratch. The constant movement takes a bit to get used to, but once you do, you're one of the most survivable and annoying characters around.

This is why I'm probably gonna quit Paladins for a little while. I feel like a minority of my games are actually decided by skill or team work, most of them end up being predetermined by the fact that whichever team checks off more of the following auto-loses:

>someone has no idea how the game is played
>someone decides to throw the match

It's not even me being salty over losing, it also gets really boring to repeatedly shit all over an enemy team that effectively only has 3 or 4 players. You just do that over and over until you get to take a break so you can experience getting shat on yourself.

The capture point system is just odd, contesting gives way to much so if you snowball any leads at all its pretty much impossible to lose unless you have a teamwipe and fail to pull it back together.

Although its a fucking brainless mode and if you meta game it you're going to have a miserable time anyway, it isn't competitive enough to even care about losing in. I've won a few games with just 5 dps vs mutiple FL teams and still won, the salt in the post game chat trumps anything I've seen in the other game modes.

You should be going into the mode and forcing yourself in unfavorable conditions to get better at playing under the pressure like spamming FFA in quake when you need to grind your raw mechanic skills up.
