Death Blow is good since she's supposed to be one shotting things anyway, the extra speed won't really help her double all too much, but Fury will help put her in Vantage range without needing to get hit by anything(which usually ends up killing her).

I have a +Spd Takumi but I dislike the character and don't find him useful in a team with Reinhardt and Merric. Should I toss his Close Counter Merric's way (+Def) or just let him languish in the bench? It hurts Merric's player phase because his average speed means he needs Darting Blow to secure kills but it does let him be more of a defensive pivot against melee units.

I think Kagerou's viability fell way down these last few updates. With Cavalry/Flier teams on the rise and the addition of Fortification Tiles, her ability to one-shot has taken a pretty big hit. I think I would actually recommend Fury now.

He's only +1 but he does work. He's not amazingly strong by any means but I think people are sleeping on him. He's got good offensive and defensive matchups into some of the more obnoxious meta units and fills the archer niche without needing to waste a slot on archers if you don't have one worth using. He's +Def/-Res which is honestly great for warding off archers and blue cavs.

Green cake with raven+TA is bretty good by herself but mine is +atk so idk how other ones peform. Cav buffs just give her an edge against a few more units. She destroys buffed Ninos/Bunnyllas with GTB as well so she's quite useful hard countering blues/colorless/Green mages and since green melees are scarce it's only reds she needs to worry about.

He does extremely well against flier teams. As long as you're mindful of Gronnblade+ Camillas and and engaging them without their Hone buffs (assuming they have Hone) you should always kill them, even if they have Iote's in their A Slot. Against the myriad Blue Lances he can facetank just about anything and build up Moonbow for free because they deal 0 damage to him. And in return he has no problem shooting them down, even with their high Res scores. He complements Reinhardt really well and takes down archers like nobody else.

It also helps that nobody builds to deal with Merric because nobody but me and a few others use him. Caeda can't actually kill Merric even with WTA and nobody uses Palla ever.

Well, drop Soren for one. He's one of my favorite characters but he's going to hold you back. You need a Dancer to improve your action economy and ensure that your offensive units are doing the most they possibly can. I'm not going to do full builds for you but here are some basic skills you're going to want.

Lucina, Reposition
Kagerou, Deathblow 3 or Fury 3
Robin, Triangle Adept 2/3
Azura, You need a Dancer

I don't think Robin is very good but your team desperately needs magic damage so he's staying in. You can sub in Hector in either Kagerou or Lucina's position if you want.

I got one that was +SPD -RES, which seems better than the neutral ones we get. With Darting Blow she'll hit 35 speed and with cav buffs on top of that it will be 41 which is pretty high up there.

His base bulk is actually obscene, Wary Fighter means he isnt getting 1 rounded by anything except bladememes, swordbreakers and thundersiblings. Hell, I just ran a sim on Ursula with just Hone cav boosting her Blade+ and he survives a hit as long as he has the Hp seal. That way under a lot of circumstances, the opponent will have to focus 2 units just to kill him or else risk getting blown out next turn, especially if you have a WoM dancer on hand. Granted they'd probably use full meme buffs to try and avoid that, but this is only a problem for opponents if he has Wary Fighter. His bulk goes to waste once thats gone since he gets doubled by basically everything. Add some defense buffs on him and he just gets ridiculous.

If you like playing armors or want to tryhard arena with high BST go ahead, you can pull off the armor emblem. Personally armors aren't my cup of tea, even with repositioning skills they're just not mobile enough and I don't even have a single Hector, much less multiple ones to inherit DC on everyone.

Anna will proabbly be more reliable if you don't whale on every banner since she will always be on rotation, and Zeph only has this week as bonus unit for the foreseeable future, but you can always get enough feathers to 5* her after Zeph before she's a bonus unit again.
