If I had a choice, I'd go with +Atk since the only thing I'm worried about her doubling is Tikis that she should be covered by allies against anyhow. Use G.Tomebreaker so that +Atk can be put to use in destroying Cecilias, other Julias and Ninos that neglect to run it themselves. As long as she's not -Spd or enemy Julias aren't speed buffed she's not in danger from other Julias with the same setup.

But I don't have a choice, so I'm stuck with +Def, which helps with tanking the occasional lance but is otherwise a waste.

Immobilizing annoying melee threats(even lances) and whatever green mage he fails to one shot is what makes it so great, cavalry rely on their high movement to get around, so he can tag something with this, and get Drawn Back to safety while units on the other side deal with their targets with one less potential check to worry about. The fact that blue mages are the most common cavalry threat is what really kills this setup though, leaving it mainly for stunning the enemy token red while Cecilia or whatever green hard counter you're using deals with the blue mages. It's when that token red is Xander or something with WoM that this tactic becomes less useful, since you might as well be running Swordbreaker to take those guys out, and Blade Tomes help more with that if you have ANY buff at all.

FE5 is easy. The enemies are extremely weak. If you ever die in FE5 it's because you made a stupid mistake. There's always several solutions to every puzzle and as long as your units don't suck you can just streamroll through a lot of 'puzzles'.

I drop Naga for TA3 + Gronnraven because I run Azura and she murders red dragons anyway, and TA3 + Gronnraven oneshots Nowi fine. But if you don't have a high-res blue or have +spd Julia I could see why you might take LaD/Fury, since you can double neutral or -spd loli tiki with buffs.
