I have been playing grail haven for a while now and they somehow cannot even win against me despite having lightning blast, something that naturally counters my amulet based deck archetype.
On the other hand I barely manage to scrape a decent win ratio against shadow together, because in most cases I'm dead by turn 5-6.

Shadow cried during DE because of Haven. They cried in RoB even though it had the 3rd highest winrate during much of the expansion. Now they're still crying in ToG even when it's the strongest class in the game.

Lets just ignore the fact that dragon is raped by aggro decks that cannot flourish because shadow destroys those aggro decks.
KYS blood has no problem raping dragon, but basically autoloses to shadow. Swordcraft and Forestcraft, decks that can beat dragon quite easily, are also decks that are utterly annihilated by current midrange shadowcraft, which is why you don't see them being played.
It is obvious that it is shadow itself that is preventing dragon from being countered by countering the decks that counter dragon.

It is midrange shadow with their ability to unconditionally trade with the board via skellington man, swing the tempo in their favour with Orthrus in an instant, eclipsing your damage output as aggro with reaper and warding up lategame with zombies that is actually killing aggro decks.

Every deck in the game regardless of how well you build it should have 50% winrate! We can balance this out by making the game irrelevant, and have either victory or defeat be decided by a coinflip, this way both parties can enjoy whatever deck they want to play without having to worry about losing to the meta, everyone will have a 50% winrate!
