I wish there were a tattered old set of church garb. Even better if it were stained with blood so it would match the graveguard hood.
Need an aesthetic that goes with church cannon and bloodletter, so something worn looking would fit someone who regularly.impales himself and runs around with a giant blooded morning star.

Bloodborne does things to me. Now I want a doujin of that.

so I never really played the game, watched some people stream bloodborne and thought it looked pretty cool.
So now I am playing it and having a blast. BUT I sorta want the burial blade (At least I think it was called that, ya know the scythe weapon) but I want to hear some input about the weapon.
Is it any good or just a "look cool" weapon? And if it is any good, how should I gem it?

As someone who's a fan of the STALKER series and has seen the 1979 film "Stalker" by Tarkovsky, I think I have a good idea what style of movie / work you'd be going for.

I just realized something interesting.

In Souls, there's a lot of NPCs coming from different nations, kingdoms, cities, and a lot of mentions of said locations as well. You can get a very clear idea of what each kingdom was like, either through analyzing their people, their items, etc..

In Bloodborne, it's a lot more vague. Everyone is either a Yharnamite or from some "foreign land." You have no idea what specific place Eileen was from, nor Henryk, nor Gascoigne, nor Valtr, etc..

I don't know what this implies but it's pretty interesting.

Its my first time playing any game like this and I don't really understand the character and we peon builds and mods. I've started with the axe and I've put a few blood shards on it but now I'm worried that if I change to a different weapon later I won't be able to fully upgrade it! Is that right?

You'll get plenty of blood shards in later game, so if you ever feel like switching to another weapon you have enough resources.

Blood Chunks are very rare though, use them for only weapons you really really love. Don't worry, even if you fuck up, all weapons are viable anyways.

Big don't don'ts: try not to kill every NPC you see. Be creative cause they all have hidden sidequests.

When you get father you'll have enough to upgrade more weapons, they can go to plus 10 but there's only 1 item in the game each new game cycle that gets it from 9 to 10 but a + 9 is fine.
Later in the game it should give you an item and someone at the cathedral ward will say don't go outside on the left, go do it and a monster will grab you and send you to the dlc, it's recommended you be level 60-80 on the dlc though, any other questions?

There are three tiers of upgrading materials: Shards, Chunks, and Rocks

Shards get you to like +5 out of 10, then you need chunks to get to +9, then a Rock for +10

Rocks are really the only ones that will limit you in the long run, because there are like 6 in the game outside of buying them with like 60 Insight a pop. Shards are easily bought so don't worry about using those on anything you feel like.
