I'm extremely tempted to just put tri adept on Nino and give her Cecilia's weapon. Reinhardt and Kagero are fucking bullshit, plus Cecilia's weapon gives me the bonus of giving the middle finger to Takumi, Klein and other colorless units which may be weak, but still exist.

Is there any real reason why I shouldn't do this? I don't have access to fury.

The main reason why you wouldn't do this is that you'd have to promote Cecilia to get enough MT to pull it off, and at that point you might as well just use TA Cecilia. No infantry weakness to Kag, higher movement, higher defense/res. It's a strict downgrade.
Nino appreciates the rounded stats from Fury, but you can get good mileage out of Death or Darting Blow as alternatives. Or just Attack +3 if you're super stingy.

I guess because she doesn't really fit the team comps I've been using, and I don't feel like building a team around her. I feel like I could probably go back to getting flawless runs on arena much easier if I made her able to take a hit on enemy turn and counter->kill.

I'm still wavering on it though because gronnblade is really good, and I have inherited some hone buffs on other characters to help her out. But man...Reinhardt and Kagero give me so much trouble. They were balanced before because the arena scoring system fucked them out of play but now they're just an all-encompassing menace for me. It feels like the meta is either mage meta or cav land now. If you're willing to spend the 20k tax for Raven+, I suppose there's no real harm in trying it out. Run the calcs with your team setup and see if she lives what you want her to.

At the end of the day, just because a unit's outclassed in a role doesn't mean that they can't still perform sufficiently in it, which is all you need if you really like that unit. If it works, it works.

I'd say 5* the ninja. I have her myself, and she murders anyone on foot so quickly, and with range, most of them can't do anything about it melee wise.

Even with the moments of striking at an archer, she kills them before they can even counter. That and I enjoy having her follow my units that give +stats to those around them, allowing a two vs one combo all the time.

I skipped out on making Cecilia a 5* unit and giving Nino her tome. I had some second regrets on that. I did, however, give Nino tri adept to fuck all the Reinhardts. I managed to only encounter one Kagero who I was able to defeat, and a lot of archers who I wrecked no problem. I encountered 4 Reinhardts and 2 Lindes, all of which Nino obliterated. I got a perfect run and scored 4,786. Feels good man.

Assuming youre not one shot Life and Death will net you more kills then Fury will on the enemy turn with Vantage. Fury however will give you more all-around bulk and let you easily activate Vantage without getting into the very low hp range.

I've personally got more mileage out of Luna then the others because my lobster is a speedy crustacean so the extra turn cd doesnt matter.

Life and Death will get your speed to 40 letting you double the vast majority of units, but keep in mind you lose some bulk letting blue mages and even archers ORKO you if they initiate when you dont have Vantage. Fury still nets you a respectable 38 and gives you some decent bulk, so you really only have to worry about tinyhands cracking your lobsters shell.

I like it because it challenges the player to go the extra mile and create and a 3-unit core + bonus or even make a new team altogether instead of staying with the same boring meme teams. It also challenges the player to change tactics and not get dead weight dying or even try to make the best out of the dead weight unit. In my case, Anna makes a good healer with Reciprocal Aid and she can teleport to get the fuck away.

But I do hate how unfair it is to lug weaker units against fully viable 4-unit teams. They should really make it a requirement to have teams include bonus units in order to get them put up for defense. That'd be fairer.

Basically she will need to be babysit until class change. If she's turned into a berserker, she still will need to be babysit but she'll do some scary damage. Some kind of support with shelter will help her a lot. If she's turned into a hero and you don't get completely screwed, eventually she'll get enough defense to take a hit or two. I don't know how, but somehow she ended up being great for me on Birthright Lunatic. Her pair ups were fantastic early on for the defense and then later, once she became a chieftain, she started critting every round almost without fail. I do hate her low hp though. I think I patched it up with a seraphim robe and occasionally used rally luck vs. high skill opponents like the gay wolves. She ended up becoming like an armored unit but without shit movement.

I think the class itself is op and they made the character's base stats/growths shit to compensate. I did one playthrough where I married Azama to her and made him an oni and he became a monster.

For the May quests, I just waited till there were blue units for armored and red or blue units for fliers. I don't have any 5* fliers so I was relying on 4* Michalis, Narcian, Caeda (buffer), Shanna, Florina and 3* Subaki. I switched teams depending on the 10th stratum layout. Infantry are decent. Cav are godlike. Fliers are pretty fucking good too but require a lot of luck to get the initial investment required.
Armor is shit. It just doesn't offer anything special. Reinhardt will murder all of your armor team. He can even kill Hector with the proper setup. Or you could just nuke Hector with Xander.
Armor has literally no redeeming factors, there is no reason you'd ever want to run an armored unit over a superior movetype aside from autism.

Zephiel can survive a sub-optimal Reinhardt with his massive bulk and a full three wards (assuming you replace Hector's Goad for a Ward) but in that case I'd simply target another armor first and once Zephiel drops to 8 Res from Wards even a mediocre Reinhardt can kill him easily.
Really the only two armors that can survive Reinhardt are Hector and Sheena, but that's when you bring in either Xander or Leo since you have more than one unit on your team.
