Single Player. So yeah, campaign. It'll help you get down the movement basics and get a feel for some of the weapons. In addition BT has access to every titan kit so you can get used to those as well. It also helps that this campaign is the best shooter campaign in recent memory. DOOM excepted because it was fucking perfection.

The SMGs are the strongest overall class of Pilot weapon in the game. They have good damage, they can be crazy accurate from the hip or from ADS, and they're all hitscan. The Alternator in particular is a good gun. Don't expect any love from the rest of /tfg/, though, since you're using a hitscan SMG.

Why does the boost chip for Battery Back-up have a different border than every other boost?

No, its simple. Increase hipfire spread on CAR and Alternator, lower the r97s overall damage back to when it was actually balanced and give it just a hair more spread. Slight damage increase to the volt so that its not bottom tier garbage, but otherwise don't touch it. Now SMGS are like they should be. Alternator/CAR require actually aiming to take advantage of their high damage much like the G2 does, R97 is a balanced bullet hose as it should be, Volt has lower damage than all of these but is hyper accurate with less dps like it should be.

Anyone that leaves over that is a child, this would objectively balance the smgs.

Did at least two rounds of multiplayer for the first time. First was basic PvP second was Attrition.

I probably like Attrition more simply because I really loved the Battlefront series of games, but I'm sure I'll like the other game modes just as much.

Grappling is really fun though I need to keep practicing to keep my speed up and my grappling hook use low, I'll have to study that video again.

I need to figure out what that lightning gun all the cool kids are using is so I can be good at Multiplayer.

Activating a Titan is fun, especially when you do it in a corner behind enemy territory so you can get a good flank, though I need to learn how to properly eject at the right time. Haven't figured that out. I also need to practice blowing enemy ejectors out of the sky.

Are half the camouflages locked behind a paywall? Certain items tell me I have to do a certain thing, or get to a certain level to unlock them, but when I click on camos in the far back they just say they're some gift item or other.

Pretty fun experience. Did this all after beating the campaign, which was sadly short but I hear it's better than nothing considering there wasn't even a single player campaign in the original. Looking forward to playing more.

Yup Attrition is fun, a good balance and always action oriented.

Grapple is great, but use the other options as you unlock them, its easy to get hooked (kek) on Grapple and stunt your movement later on if you can't walk run properly.

Lightning Gun? Like a slow ball of lightning? Thats the Thunderbolt, an Anti-Titan hate cloud. I recommend the CAR or the Eva-8 or maybe an assault rifle to start, then progress later when you've got the movement down. Grenadiers are fun, EPG or Cold War are exceptionally so.

Titans are great, have fun picking a favourite. I usually glavor of the week but Northstar and Scorch are my top picks, Ronin is fun for never ending high speed action. Take notice of your life bars, when your Titan is Doomed you are at great risk of being one shot by a lot of stuff, including Titan Terminations (getting meleed Titan v Titan whilst youre doomed) you'll notice you're Doomed because the life bar switches to a Hazard Tape diagonally lined bar. If you have a Core or a quick fuck you salvo of abilities to damage an opponent throw it out then triple tap the eject button.

'Gifts' are received via progression, random loot box, I dunno, think Overwatch? They are non buyable. What IS buyable are custom packs for each Titan, check em out in the Store if you become particually attached to a Titan?

So I've checked all the text, even remotely removable looking parts, and all the crevices of this helmet. Nothing that looks to be of interest on or inside it. There's a small black box on the inside top which I assume houses the battery for the BT audio player, the speaker on the inside near your ear, and another small black box in front of where your mouth would be. All three of these parts connect via wires, and the lower plastic enclosure doesn't seem big enough to really hold anything of interest other than whatever circuit board it probably houses.

I miss playing Battleborn, I stopped because TF2 came out and the queue time was getting up over 20 minutes.
Not all the chars were annoying shits, just the one people used most often (Alani, Orendi, Melka).
I actually really liked lots of the dialogue from Oscar Mike, Whiskey Foxtrot, Galt, Marquis, ISIC, etc.
Really only like half the cast was annoying meme spouters, and the visual clutter wasn't really that bad.

Ion is just naturally the best titan. You'd have a LOT of trouble beating a stack of decent Ions
Aside from that though, it might just be Ronin. With the damage block fixed, Ronin really is one of the strongest contenders now. Even before the fix, Overcore+Highlander and maybe grabbing a battery enabled you to just go to town and never stop.
Northstar loses a lot of power here, but is still really good facing off against every other titan as long as you play your cards right

My titanfall got hacked by the chinese and made it very hard to mastiff.
